Hugh Freeze brought some good times but he had a knack for producing the most gut wrenching losses ever. Lose your faith in god type stuff

2014 Auburn obviously the worst

But we had 2 disgusting losses to Vanderbilt under that a-hole Franklin. I started to actually hate Vanderbilt

Ultra gross losses to A&M led by the drug lord

Very disgusting losses to Arkansas. 4th and 25, wew lad

2014 LSU: Ranked 3rd in the country. Women crying in the stands, Wallace leaves out the tunnel before the game is over like a bitch.

2015 Memphis? For fricks sake

2013 Mississippi State: “Wallacing”, yikes

And then the debacle that was 2016: the year of the ridiculous blown leads. Lose to Florida State, Alabama, and Arkansas all after blowing leads between 21 and 24 points.

Being an Ole Miss fan is pure torture.

Duke 1992 Regional Finals 104-103 in OT. The Laetner stomp game. Coach K never even took him out of the game for that.

But 1998 we got our revenge and a Title.

Football: The Bluegrass Miracle. Only KY football could lose quite like that.

I don't really get heartbroken over a football game, I was raised on Florida football when our most popular cheer was wait 'til next year!

But UGa 1980 was as close as I will get.

Curious you didn't list last year's egg bowl. The Ole Piss incident.

Yeah, that's a false narrative.

Uga was losing at halftime 14-13, Losing at the end of the third by two scores and had a good 4th quarter to get back in the game. Marcus Lattimore ran all over UGA in that game.

2011 UGA vs USC

Stat line
South Carolina scored on a fake punt and two defensive touchdowns. We clearly controlled the entire game but you guys made a few big plays which decided the outcome.

If an LSU fan says anything other than the 2011 BCS title game, they are lying. It took 8 years, an undefeated national championship season, and a Heisman winning QB to put that disaster in the rear view mirror.

21-0 for sure by a long long shot.

29-0 hurt also but that team wasn’t dominating the cfb world like the 2011 team was.

Lol

I have been emotionally invested in OM football under Matt Luke about as much as I am emotionally invested in Taco Bell

A football game has 3 phases. Offense, Defense and Special Teams. You guys did well in 1 phase.

Guess what, explosive plays decide many football games.

If you want to see what domination looks like in a football game, see SC vs UGA 2012. SC controlled all 3 phases of the game.

21-0 hurt especially because of the stakes and how the game transpired, but I would say 2012 was much more heartbreaking. The way the 2012 game was lost, after the atmosphere and everything surrounding it, was truly crushing. If LSU wins in 2012 it doesn't make up for the embarrassment of the National Championship game, but it does a ton for the psyche of the program and the fanbase.
