They’re probably the most talented team in the country but at some point you have to be punished for playing a powder puff schedule relative to the rest of the top 5.
From here on out, the SEC will play 9 conference games while the few top B1G programs will continue with powder puff schedules.
Anyone who thinks that this will not be a huge disadvantage for the SEC's chances in the playoffs is an abject FOOL.

Ohio State has been in complete control over every other team it has played, including a decent Washington and a ranked (for now) Illinois.
Indiana scored a billion on Illinois.
IU
OhioSt
Aggie
Oregon
BAMA
Vandy and uga both lost to BAMA. Vandy edges out uga for the 6th spot because Vandy lost to BAMA on the road and uga lost at home.
6-10
Vandy
uga
Ole Miss
GaTech

Cute.
But you do bitch.
Not to mention that you are, in fact, Alabama’s bitch.

When UGA won back to back titles they had to hang on to beat Mizzou and Kentucky. Great teams need to have shitty wins sometimes though. It happens every year

if Ohio State loses one regular season game and doesn’t win their championship game they shouldn’t be in the playoffs

You’re living in fantasy island if you think the committee would leave them or ND out and they have two losses or less. I agree their schedule is soft but they bring money and eyeballs

5) A&M
Who has A&M and Ohio state beat ? bama has destroyed several ranked teams . Ohio state at least destroyed all their cupcakes though unlike A&M (Arkansas, Auburn )

They beat up on Vanderbilt. The other games were pretty close. Credit to Bama for winning though

1. A&M.
2. Bama
3. Georgia
4. Vandy
5. Ole Miss
Does anybody who knows football think either Ohio State or Indiana on a neutral field could beat any of the above.
I don’t.

A&M has never beaten OSU. Zero and 4 vs the Buckeyes. OSU would beat Vandy. The other teams I agree. I think OSU would lose to Bama, Ole Miss and Georgia

I think Alabama is number one. They have played tough and found ways to win.
Gawd knows if Ohio State is that good. Same with Indiana. They just don’t play the same level of competition week in and week out. (Ie, SEC bottom feeders are better than most conferences mid-pack).
ATM is interesting. I don’t know how they react when the bright lights are truly shining on them going forward. No question they have talent, and Elko is the real deal, but consistently winning big games is a step that the Aggies have never taken this century

Obviously biased but we objectively have a better resume than OSU and Indiana after last night.

I concur and the ND win is looking pretty sporty.

I get the politics of it all but their schedule is dog shite and teams shouldn’t be awarded for having a soft schedule.

People are such retards. Literally last week everyone was saying Bama was clearly the best cause they beat down Tennessee, and A&M squeaked out a 3 point win against either the worst or second worst team in the league. One week later, Bama squeaks out a win over a bad South Carolina team at the end of a brutal stretch, missing numerous key players, A&M beats what everyone knew was a fraudulent LSU squad, and now A&M is the best team in the country, one week removed from nearly losing to Arkansas. The overreacting is extreme.
We did not nearly lose to Arkansas. We led by 10 almost through. Arkansas scored their last TD with 13 seconds left. It never felt in doubt after halftime.

This. Exactly this. A&M is for real.
A&M has played zero ranked teams in the sec expect LSU. They have played a weak easy schedule.
