Joined the sec in the early 90s. Encouraged the acc to accept a 12 team playoff when the sec originally introduced it.

Sadly this is the correct answer. After Bama ended Georgia’s 29 game winning streak, the committee altogether watched one of the worst halves of college football I’ve seen all year.

This is pretty much it.

I honestly feel bad for FSU because they won every game they played. I feel like the LSU game being the very first game when Daniels and that LSU offense hadn't gotten going yet kind of hurt them too. It didn't seem near as impressive at the time.

Sucks if you're an FSU fan, any of us would be pissed, but it was just kind of unfathomable to not let Bama in after they snapped reigning 2 time NC UGA's streak. Just not a good year for the ACC being a bottom tier p5 conference if you're FSU.

But they won all of their games.

This isn’t the NFL. Not all wins are created equally.

Showed some offense Saturday night. That is all it would have taken. Period.

Not basically stood up and gave the middle finger to their entire conference during a board of trustees meeting when 4 of them including the committee chair were on the committee.

And they probably should schedule another two big time opponents because the majority of their league is hot dog water
SOS of 55 even with 2 SEC teams on the schedule doesn't speak highly of the conference they play in. But they clearly weren't anywhere near the 4th best team that played on Saturday (and Friday).

Join a stronger conference. The ACC let them down. Even with 2 SEC games, they have a #55 rated SOS.

Not have their star QB running for extra yards against a cupcake.

Join the SEC 30 years ago when the had the chance rather than the choosing the path of least resistance to the NC, aka the ACC.

It’s not that hard to understand.

the only reason that FSU isn't in is because jordan travis is currently on crutches

Perhaps, until you look at the film and see the offensive pass interference that led to Bond’s catch.
Seriously that’s your argument? Obviously you didn’t watch the FSU Louisville game. When the announcers say “well they’re not going to call pass interference or defensive holding tonight on FSU” repeatedly your argument goes out the window.

Schedule all 4 non-conference games against the SEC since 2 wins wasn’t enough? Try harder to keep their QB from being injured? Add an extra game to the schedule to be the first 13-0 regular season P5 team?

Look like a competent offense against North Alabama, Florida and Louisville with your backup QBs.

Here’s another bright idea, don’t do a designed run with your quarterback against North Alabama if you know your backups suck dick.
Milroe didn’t have one designed run against a sisters of the poor team all year. That’s smart coaching.

Play in a better conference is the correct answer.

They didn’t look good all season. They were just winning in a non power conference. Their “elite” receivers were getting manned up by UF’s weak arse secondary. Their biggest plays were penalties against UF.

Maybe did a better job prepping their backup QBs.

Because every team preps their third string true freshman QB
