I live in the DFW metro area which I'd guess is roughly even between Texas and aggy, slight edge to Texas. Also a lot of Sooners here who choose to come a bit south instead of staying in the OKC area after graduation, and a few piggies. Having said that I'd say "SEC" fandom is pretty low since one of the largest bases (aggy) no longer likes the SEC since they allowed big bad Tee Yew into the conference, and Texas and OU have never been big into conference affiliation wether that was SWC/Big 8-Big 12, and we only chant "SEC SEC" in a mocking fashion to former conference mates, not pumping the conference.

Here on the Northshore, it’s even more pro LSU and more anti Tulane.

Question for your area and in NO in general. Do LSU fans still hate or dislike Tulane after all these years that the rivalry has been deemphasized?

I am old but I am still not old enough to remember Tulane as an SEC team. Do remember LSU and Tulane having their end of season rivalry. But even that has been gone for a long time.

If you live in New Orleans proper you probably know that 1 obnoxious Tulane fan that makes you dislike them.

I think for the rest of the state it’s not a thing at all and you maybe even supported Tulane these last few years.

Feels like there are a shite ton of Bama and Ole Miss fans in New Orleans.

I think it’s more of an anti-LSU thing than it is pro-Bama thing for a lot of these people.

Miami metro. I haven't seen a single SEC tag down here.

I'm sure there are some Gators around though...

Not that it would even get to 1%, was interesting the number of people sitting around us in Lexington with degrees from Alabama and Kentucky.

Solid Big Ten area in The Villages, but the Bama group is the only one that puts their games on the big screen at the movie theater in Lake Sumter. The games got so popular that they had to go to a second screen. $5 gets you in the door with pizza and beer available. UF is probably the largest SEC group here followed by Bama and Texas. Everyone has some representation.

A fair amount of Kentucky undergrads and Auburn vet school folks between Lexington and Louisville with the horse racing industry as well.

My local vet is a Kentucky/Auburn guy.

SEC. Moved here in 95, was impressed with the Tennessee presence here...had to find someone to talk football with. Outside of ACC, Tennessee and Ohio State are well represented in Mecklenburg & surrounding area.

Retirement community in Upstate SC. Mostly, OSU, MI, Penn St, very few SEC.

If I leave the community, prob 75% Clemson, 20% gamecocks, 5% UGA.

Lived most of my life in Baldwin County and would say it was 50/50 au v bama.

Because I don’t believe there are 120,000 LSU fans in Mobile and Baldwin counties.

There aren't. Not sure where he pulled this number from. Mobile and Baldwin are as Bama as any county in the state.

There are a lot of LSU fans in Austin, but not equal to A&M fans.
