Dude, I don't care if the ACC is a shite show or not because I'm not a conference homer. Most SEC people are living vicariously through the success of 2-3 schools because they are either mediocre or average at best...SEC people are just looking for some way to play down Clemson's ridiculous success. It used to be that we would get beat in the Bowls/Playoff because we play a soft schedule and those powerful SEC teams that have played such a tough conference schedule would mop up the floor with us....well that argument has not worked out so now our success is due to playing the same soft schedule but we are better rested I guess...

As I said, I don't care if the rest of the ACC sucks as long as we are at the dance. We will do our talking on the field as we have done win or lose.

I just find it a little comical that their conference champ last year wins by a margin of 33 points and they call us soft....go figure.

While simple, this is probably close

SEC has always been "the six"
ACC has been the 1 + 1

While the six might change from year to year (clearly UT is out and TAMU is in) it stays at about 6. ACC usually has 1 dominate team per season (Clemson right now) and a +1 (so far yet to be determined).

Dig deeper tho and after "the six" are a few more that are still better than the majority of the ACC. Teams like State and UK are probably better than most of the ACC even tho they are middle of the pack in the SEC.

Long term I think Louisville and possibly Pittsburgh will be good adds as they move the some schools that should benefit in football being a P5. Long term tho, Notre Dame really needs to join full time to bolster the ACC as more than a 1 trick pony conference.

Ok who is the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th best team in the ACC?

Now match them against LSU, UGA, Aub, UF, A&M, and Miss St....I'll wait. Clemson is great, but there are 7 SEC teams that would go undefeated in ACC conference play this season

Clemson bitch slaps every team they play from the conference, including Alabama.

You just undermined your entire thread Clemson is 2-2 vs Alabama in the playoffs and year before last lost 24-6

My how short those memories are. Clemson is so set up for a huge disappointment.

I'll ask again- Clemson smacked the SEC champ, has the CFP trophy, but still can't shake their ACC insecurities. Why die on this hill??

Danny: Take the SEC vs. ACC in total. Then take out the Clemson games vs. the SEC. Clemson is carrying the ACC.

Do you realize UNC won a grand total of ONE game in the ACC last season?

And now they’re the second best team in the ACC this year lol

You’re weakening your own argument

Why do you think they're the second best team in the ACC?

The ACC only has one good team. Why is this so hard for you?

Why don't you cry on an ACC board?

The ACC is not a strong football conference. Never has been.

No shame in that. Can't you taters just enjoy what you have? It's fleeting so have some pride and quit looking for our approval.

Damn.

I bet they wish Maryland was still in the conference.
