For Auburn, I'd also suggest:
Jackson/Fullwood
and
Dansby/Thomas

Coffman and Rucker is probably up there too, same with Ray and Golden.

I get what you’re saying and you’re not wrong, however; some QB/WR are extra special and not always easy for a QB/WR to click.
Also, when Chase & Jefferson played together at LSU in 2019, they shared the field with 3 other wideouts (Terrance Marshall Jr., Thaddeus Moss, & Clyde Edwards Helaire) on the field at the same time on most plays.
They were the top 2 on that team of course in talent, TD, receiving yards, etc., and a duo as far as the top 2 best WR, but to me a duo doesn’t share the field with 3 other wideouts. .

Alabama isn’t my team by a long shot but I’ll say
Smitty & Waddle (Both WR)
After Waddle was injured in 2020, I’d even say Smitty & Harris (WR/RB)
Najee Harris is a beast!!

Stephen Garcia & Alshon
for positions it would have to be Melvin Ingram and Clowney

Probably the right answer, although based purely on talent, one could argue for Reggie Cobb/Chuck Webb. Antone Davis and Charles McRae also deserve a mention, it’s not often you see two offensive tackles drafted in the top ten of the same draft. My personal favorite is Al Wilson and Raynoch Thompson.

I’d say Sullivan and Beasley…. 1969-1971.

Chubb and Gurley. Or Chubb/Sony Michel.
Edit-- Bowers McConkey is not a terrible answer.

If we are not limiting this to offenses, and I can date myself, I’m going with the Blitz Brothers of John Roper and Aaron Wallace of the late 80’s.
Slocum’s defenses were stupid fast and big, and the UH game in ‘89 was emblematic. “We’re gonna introduce the Run and Shoot to the Blitz and Destroy”. They did.

For OU... I don't know how it could be anybody else but Lee Roy and Dewey. And I don't mention Lucious because the thread calls for a "duo"....
My other one for OU that hasn't been mentioned would be Billy Sims and Kenny King.

Georgia- Bowers/McHonky
Recency bias. I think Bowers will likely go down as goat TE, but McConkey, as great as he is, will likely be relegated to being a UGA legend and not as much of a national legend. UGA has never been WRU, so he stands out to us. Ohio State and Alabama has had better receivers than Ladd every year for the last 15 years.

I agree he’s not the greatest player to ever play at Georgia. BUT, recency bias goes both ways. Decades from now the combo of Bowers and McConky will be one you tell your grandchildren about.
Also, Georgia was in the East so I didn’t really pay as much attention to them back in the day. Pre-Sports Center and internet, you mostly just have to take each fanbase’s word.
