This usually is said by people that haven't actually been here. But carry on.

Wow, an insightful gump.

Has New Mexico been mentioned yet? Biggest wasteland in the U.S....and spare me the Taos-Santa Fe area is beautiful because that is all it has to offer.

A little advice for you. If that bad, please just stay in Jawja. We will be over to whip your arse in about a month and give you more reason to hate us. We really do need for General Sherman to make another march through Atlanta and on to the sea!

God (nature made), man made, flat land, rolling hills, mountains etc. We've got it all.

I encourage everyone to get out and take a road trip- I just got back from one a few weeks ago and wow, I kinda feel like a different person. It had been so long since I ventured that far (AR to Rapid City and back with stops and nights between and after) by vehicle. I've been many places by plane and enjoyed them all but road tripping is different. Take some main roads but get the roadside america app and make some stops at the quirky things, make stops at beautiful things, listen to voices that don't sound like yours. I loved it so much, I want to do another one next year.

America is amazing.

i've driven around much of the country... If you could make a state out of the mississippi river delta and include parts of Louisiana, Arknsas, and Mississippi it would probably be the worst state in the country other than it being good hunting area. not a fan of easter South Dakota, Iowa, nebraska, kansas... basically the entire plains area... that place sucks. The Southern part of illinois with nothing but cornfields sucks as well as inner city chicago. 90% of michigan even though i haven't been there likely blows from what i've seen. WV is scenic in parts but the rest of the state sucks. swampy parts of florida suck and south west georgia sucks. Far west texas sucks until you get into some of those small mountains. Nevada flat desert sucks. That's pretty much it. This is because all of it is ugly as crap... there are crappy schools, no hospitals worth a dam in 100 mile radius, and everyone is poor

To know beauty you've got to know ugly and even appreciate it.

We made a fuel stop in some little town in Colorado and decided to change where we were staying on our way home and onstar took us on some county roads- paved for awhile then about 10 miles of dirt roads with corn fields everywhere. Not exciting but was entertaining due to the laughs and kinda pretty in it's own way. Makes you realize people and places are different yet quite a bit the same too.

Born in raised in the south, got a job up here.

If you do it right it's pretty f'n sweet.

City during the week always lively, summers at the Hamptons, shite you can even go to CT in a short time.

I've enjoyed it, just hope I can stay.

I'll take Louisiana over Kansas, Nebraska, or Delaware any day.

What I have seen of New Jersey, it is the armpit of America.
