Ooops

quote:

Louisiana is the worst state in the country, according to a new analysis based on health care, education, infrastructure, crime and other quality-of-life measures.

quote:

In a similar list last year compiled by Politico Magazine, Louisiana came in 51st, because Washington, D.C., was also included.

Don’t worry swampbillies, like it says in the bible; he who is last shall be first.

Take a look at the mayor of BR and the candidates in a runoff in NO. Your jaw will drop. I’m not exaggerating.

I’ve lived and grown up in the south my entire life and even traveled for my job the last 5 years and Alabama is by far the worst state:

Don’t get me wrong, outside of the idiotic fans, the people there are nice and generally decent folk.

BUT, that state just sucks to have to drive through, work in, or find anything to do.

I’ll give Guntersville a pass though. Some of the best fishing I’ve ever the pleasure of experiencing and is a nice town.

Jeebus these things are dumb.

North Dakota & Vermont 30 spots ahead of all of Georgia. Alright. Sounds good. Atlanta, GA and Eastman, GA are about as different as Trenton, NJ and Princeton, NJ.

Silly.

There are good things and people in all States.
There are bad things and people in all States.
There is beauty in every State in our great nation.
This is America and we are all very blessed to have what each State has to offer.
This site could be greatly improved if the childish sniping was cut to a minimum.

On the flip side, I have lived in GA on a couple of occasions and find it to be pretty bad too.

However, I live in Nashville now, and it’s better than any place in AL or GA.

You’re right about Guntersville. Keep your carpetbagger arse away from Neely Henry.

Yeah? In America, we have what’s called free speech and private entities are able to operate their business as they see fit. If I want to call Alabama fans sister/cousin humpers, I damn well will until Chicken says otherwise. Maybe you and him will fit in better in China, where no one can say a disparaging word to any one, ever. Commies.

As an over the road truck driver I'm going to go with either Kentucky or West Virginia and it's not even close

If they included storm ravaged Puerto Rico Louisiana would still come in dead last.

Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama are practically the same state. But I rather just pretend Louisiana is the worst place on earth like this board tells me. It's easier that way.
