I remember the Texas vs Arky game. I think I saw it on the weekend recap show hoasted by Keith Flemming on ABC. Damn, that was a long time ago. Was that game for the NC?

As an LSU fan, I don't remember anything before the year 2000.

1961 Sugar Bowl. Ole Miss vs Rice. OM won 14-6. Jake Gibbs rolls left to score his second touchdown.

1977 - Tennessee at Kentucky. UT lost 21-17 to probation restricted UK. I went to Lexington with my parents, who are UK fans. Derrick Ramsey was QB at UK, but he was injured. He wound up being a heck, of a TE in the NFL.

I will add...we had to sit on about 1/8 of Ice in Commonwealth Stadium that day. It was so freakin' cold.

No. Regular season but both were undefeated. Texas defeated Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl for the NC. ND didn't normally go to bowl but they broke their ban that year leaving a one loss LSU team at home with no bowl to go to.

You're that young? I went to both games. 2002 in Norman and 2003 in Tuscaloosa.

I think I was at that game. Was that the one OM jumped out like 21-0 and Alabama stormed back curb stomping them?

I remember being at the Texas A&M LSU game in Tiger Stadium in 1990. I was 5. First game I can actually remember what was going on was against Kentucky in 1994.

LSU vs Florida 97. I was 10 years old. Parents let my brother and I rush the field.

That's the game that Bama rope holder and Aggie coaching legend Fran began the game with an onsides kick.

I remember there being a bad thunder storm at that game. Homer Smith and walkon QB Gary Hollingsworth. Good times.

Late 70s. Buford Magee. I think it was the first time he ever touched the ball in a college game. He took it 80 yards to the house. And proceeded to rack up about 250 all purpose yards that game.

I was maybe 7. I'm sure the reality is a long way from how I remember it. But that's where it sits in my memory.

Nope...Johnny's first season was '77. That '77 game was Fran Curci's last game at Kentucky. My dad said it was ironic that the losing team went from there to a bowl game and the winning team fired their coach.

99 Bama vs Florida in the Swamp. A instant classic, Alexander is still running wild over the Florida D.
