It wasn’t the coldest but one of the most unprepared games I’ve ever attended was the AU/LSU gs e in 2012. It was in the mid 80s and by kickoff is was in the low 60s. I think it ended up being in the low 40s that night. I was wearing a short sleeve shirt & shorts

Minnesota. Outdoors at the old Met. December. Low teens with an 8" snow the night before. Vikes won.

04 Music City Bowl.
It was sleet rain and the wind off the river was ridiculous.
Plus Laurence Maroney and Marion Barber ran all over us to give Minnesota the win.

For me it would definitely be Broncos vs Titans in Denver. I can't remember the exact year or month, I think November or December of maybe 2014. I'd have to look at their schedule or find my ticket stub.
Either way brutally cold. In teens or the single digits if I remember right. Pretty sure single digits with the wind chill. Is there somewhere online to find such information for NFL games, temp at kickoff?

Music city bowl in Nashville in 2014 against Notre dame. Was in the 30s with 15 mph wind and we sat in the lower bowl in the shade the whole game. I only wore a long sleeve shirt because I got on the whiskey that morning and was feeling good but by halftime I was severely regretting it

My last home game as a high school senior playing our crosstown rival. It started snowing about 15 minutes before kickoff. By the end of the game, they were having to shovel through over a foot of snow to find the goal lines and the sidelines. It went from mid 50's at lunch time down into the teens by the time the game was over at 10pm that night. The wind was probably blowing at least 25mph on top of that. It was a mess.

Most miserable, 2008 LSU comeback against Troy. Just above freezing, windy and raining while down 28 points.
Coldest 2000 independence bowl MSU aTm.

2016 North Alabama vs NW Missouri State DII NCG in Kansas City, Kansas, @Sporting KC soccer stadium. Game started in low teens with a windchill around negative 5 and got colder from there.
Parking lots were covered in ice and snow. Several unmanned parked cars sliding into each other.
Fun experience even if UNA did get blasted 29-3. Became more fun when a Vet friendly group invited us up to their box for the second half. Good food and libations to warm up.
P.S.: that is what Gold and Purple are supposed to look like.

SW DeKalb vs. Clarke Central, sophomore year, 1989. Rain turned into freezing rain and then into sleet. Horrible evening except that the Gladiators won the game. But we lost the state championship game against Valdosta the next week.

The two that stick out most in my memory are:
1996 Arkansas @ Auburn
2000 Auburn @ Alabama
The Iron Bowl was also wet… A 33 degree sleet game that ended with neither team scoring a TD. 9-0 AU win.

1992 Liberty Bowl. Ole Miss beat Air Force 13 - 0. It was cold and rainy. Had on multiple layers and could not get warm. At least the Rebels won the game.

Coldest game I ever attended was a AAA GHSA playoffs game in 2003 at memorial stadium in griffin ga.Spalding county vs I don’t remember who we beat but that game sent us to the dome and it was below freezing at kickoff.
Peach county then proceeded to beat the shite out of us in the Georgia dome in the semi finals a few weeks later.

This one, I was but a wee Rebel and quite “husky” but I froze my arse off. Most miserable I’d ever been at a game, including the years I was stuck in Jackson bitching on Halloween instead of trick or treating back home with my friends.

I’ll tell you what- I’ve lived in Ohio and not been as cold in 15 degree weather as I am in 40 degrees in Memphis or Nashville- it’s a bone chilling cold.
1987 Liberty Bowl- Georgia v Arkansas.
I remember having the debate with my dad. Is it better to be cold or hot. The conclusion- hot. At least you can shed layers. When you’re cold- sometimes there is nothing you can do even with layers.
2000- Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa.
Lots of people have this one. Winning only made it slightly warmer.
2017 Liberty Bowl- Iowa St v Memphis.
One of those games when not even the wild Turkey cut the cold for long.
