You rang?

Now in all seriousness.

Christ didn't come to bring another religion... He came to bring salvation. There is a vast difference.

I don't really expect you to keep up with me on these things.

When you have real understanding you will recognize true expressions in whatever form they manifest. Just like you understand math, so nobody will ever be able to convince you that 1+1=5 but you will understand why 1+1=2 at the same time.

There is an understanding that is needed to properly read a math book, and there is understanding that is needed to properly understand things in religion.

Of all the things I expected to see in this thread math being compared to religion is not one of them

Are you capable of actually talking about the things being expressed?

That which is flesh is flesh, and that which is spirit is spirit.

Do you disagree with that statement?

You're right, it's a humanity issue as a whole. But unfortunately, very few people are into religion for the right reasons. Far more are in it to abuse the benefits.

Why do non-Christians try to weaponize Christianity in their arguments against it?

And ultimately, why do they care what Christians do if we’re so insignificant and flawed in our beliefs? Seems like nervous diversion. Just sayi

Christians(and really any religion) weaponize their religion/Christionaity more than any non-religious type.

It's all about understanding, not the labels that express them.

I just find math is the easiest thing that is similar. It's the difference between someone who just memorizes 1+1=2 and someone who understands 1+1=2. You can just accept 1+1=2 is true, or you can just accept 1+1=2 is false. But the point is to understand.
