That's pretty much exactly what will happen which is why if he's smart, he'll go to Florida where they'll welcome 9-3 seasons at this point

He would have been fired last year had he been at LSU with a loaded team shitting the bed and missing the playoffs in year 5.
If he goes to LSU he has 3 years to make the cfp or he'll be fired.
After that, he cant miss them two years in a row or he'll be fired.
Its the LSU way.

Nah, Lane's a much more likable guy than Kelly. He'll get 5 years to make the playoffs, not that he won't get there in probably at least year 2 or so.

I'm ok with him being 9&3 as long as oklahoma is one of those 3.

They’ll just need to accept that 9-3, 8-4 is who they are for the most part.

Pressure is on. Potential 11-1 finish with a division 2 qb at little ole miss. Surely at lsu he'll go undefeated and play for a championship. Portal king don't need a year to rebuild.
