Stoops has built a very good program in Lexington. the 2 Citrus bowl wins along with a Gator & Belk the past 4 seasons were won by a total of 15 points. solid programs win close games as part of its DNA.

Combination. There’s 8-10 brand name blue chip schools that will pull top talent. They’ll pull top 5 talent with elite coaching. Unfortunately, schools like Kentucky will never have those coaches to pull top 5 talent. There’s a reason We are averaging top 12 recruiting classes now and had top 3 classes when Urban Meyer was here. Schools like Kentucky and Arkansas aren’t getting coaches like Meyer and Saban to recruit bc it’s harder to convince top talent to go to schools who don’t traditionally win at high levels.

In the last six seasons Kentucky has finished tied for second three times. They've had two Citrus Bowl wins, and have wins over:
No. 11 Louisville
No. 25 Florida
No. 14 Mississippi State
No. 12 Penn State
No. 18 Tennessee
No. 23 NC State
No. 10 Florida
No. 15 Iowa
They've earned the respect; you better show it to'em or get beat.
