The only schools accused of paying players is AU, LSU, OSU, and MSU.

Although I do get joy out of this I'm not gonna throw stones, and I'm also not going to flat out be oblivious/delusional if a player on Bama came out and said the same things.
I will credit the OP and say he is one of the only aubs who is not making excuses for these accusations. He is also not, in return, making wild accusations that Bama is behind all of this.

UA cost him a career??? Is he serious?
He couldn't HAVE an NFL career without a football program to play at... and now that he's famous for "the catch," he can get hired anywhere he wants. He'll always find jobs.
what a joke. i hate hate hate the entitled mentality.
Dude, calm down, you haven't even seen it. I seriously doubt he's blaming UA. I think he's talking about how athletes should get paid, which is debatable.

Dude.. it's bad for the SEC. I mean, it's ok to make up shite against Bama and try to get them in trouble. Contact media and even go so far as doing background checks on high school kids. That's for the greater good. But, Auburn.... dude.. this is bad for the SEC!!!

Oh but I am! If Bama wasn't an in-state powerhouse then we wouldn't be having this issues.

Yes, it is just the tip of the iceberg. You really think that Bama, UF, UT and OU are exempt from the practices that USC, OSU, Auburn, LSU and MSU use?
You're presently going through that first level of acceptance that I went through ten years ago with the Albert Means scandal. You believe that you are now screwed, but you also cling to the hope that other schools will topple with you.

you riiiiiiiiight. i'll chill until i see it. but you know what i mean, right? if i were him i would be SO grateful to be a part of Bama football lore forever... for a chance/opportunity to grace the field in a uniform in front of 100k people. not to mention an education and the likelihood of job offers forever.
i wouldn't gripe about what i COULD have had. ya know?

This is what Alabama fans said when Albert Means broke, but I don't really remember anyone else getting in trouble.

I know Prothro and he is about the farthest from entitlted as a football player can be. Im not sure he says in the HBO thing it cost him his career. I think that was just assumed. He might have some beef with Shula for keeping him in a game that he didnt beed to be in though.

I don't care about the SEC, so I guess that doesn't bother me too much.

I didn't think we could get in trouble with the NCAA from something that happened years ago. I honestly get no satisfaction in the fact that other schools are guilty, I just know it to be true. I have said it before, there are guys I am friends with that received envelopes of cash in their locker room at major schools.
