Fire him…. This isn’t really brain surgery to be honest.

You all have already stated that he is the 2nd coming of Saban. This is your top coach. And if Lane crashes and burns at LSU he'll go back to OC status because he will be unhirable by any major university as HC.

We've been through it before...that's life! Sometimes things go your way and sometimes they don't. Just gotta deal with it.

Any more questions?

Chicken fingers will cost $20 each and LSU will have a team full of JUCO players.

Caniac prices go to 25 bucks which is bad news for everyone! All you sec fans need to pray Lane works out at LSU so you can put canes on the table.

Well his track record indicates he will win and has something to prove.Unlike BK who DGAF and collected a check and yet LSU DID NOT HAVE A LOSING SEASON.What can a program like LSU accomplish with a great coach who wants to win bigtime.Hasnt the past shone us anything about our potential as a football team with a motivated coach.

Paying 2 coaches not to coach now, what's another one?

If he crashes and burns at LSU, he can get a job with the Jets. Losing doesn't seem to bother them.

Well, when we're talking about what they are paying him, we know what they want. But this isn't Urban Meyer out of Utah or Nick Saban coming back to the SEC.

There are reasons to doubt here.

-He had a much more talented team last year and lost to Kentucky at home.
-He was already the coach of an elite school in fertile recruiting ground and failed.
- He had a playoff spot locked up last year and lost a team that he reportedly would have coached had they fired their coach. In other words, when he had extra skin in the game he nutted up.
- He had one of the easiest schedules in the conference this year.

By saying "another" implies you hired top coaches prior. If they have crashed and burned and are fired, why would you consider them top coaches?
