Will is, at least, getting some hype around his name now.

He's #1 in the ESPN "Heisman Five":

quote:

1. Alabama LB Will Anderson Jr.

Asking the New Mexico State offensive line to slow down Anderson was like blocking a tidal wave with an umbrella. The good news for the Aggies is they fell behind by such a wide margin so early, they didn't have to see much of Anderson after the first drive of the second half. It was a smart game plan. Anderson still finished with two sacks, giving him 12.5 for the year, and bringing his season total for TFL to 23. That's the most by an SEC player since Jarvis Jones and Jadeveon Clowney each finished 2012 with 23.5. Anderson has at least three more games remaining to add to his total

I'm not saying he'll win it, but the first part - getting people's attention - is at least there.

I wish they would do away with the Heisman and give an award to the best Offensive player and another one to the best defensive player.

They have those as well, but the Heisman will never go away

Can't even spell. Stupid hillbilly M'fr. You may very well beat Bama in Atlanta but it will be the closest, hardest fought game game you have played all year. He's better than any defender ga has by a lot.

I don't really follow the individual awards a whole lot except the Heisman. I pay more attention if a Georgia player is mentioned, but that's about it.

Bednarik Award and Nagurski awards are for best defensive player

They do "player of the year" that isn't the Heisman and usually an offensive player wins that too.

They also do position awards (DL, OL, Center, CB, LB etc.)

They are both very good. I wouldn't even try to say which one is better, because I'm just not that smart. Both teams are lucky to have the player they got, and I think they fit their schemes very well.

How the shite did Suh have 85 tackles in the Big 12?

They aren’t just running it up the middle all game for DTs to make stops.
