What does Will Anderson’s stat line need to look like to win the Heisman?

Will it take a bad game from Bryce where it’s evident that Will kept us in the game?

He likely finishes the season with 15 or more sacks and 25 TFL. That’s incredible.

Looked up Ndamukong Suh stats to see how they compared.

Suh had 85 tackles, 52 solo, 20.5 tfl and 12 sacks.

That solo tackle stat is pretty crazy for a DT.

Suh just had that moment where he dominated the game and won it for them.

If you're honest, Anderson 100 times the player Bryce is. Anderson is the best LB at bama since Derrick Thomas.

I agree 100% on that. He would have to get to 20 sacks and probably have the game of his life in Atlanta.

A WR and a LB winning the Heisman in consecutive years. Can't think of a better recruiting pitch.

Depends on when he changes position to quarterback.

Suh's game in the Big 12 championship vs Texas was the most dominant performances I've ever seen by a defensive player. Probably why Colt tapped after one hit by Dareus in the NCG. Had flashbacks and said not again!

His stats should be enough to get his foot in the door. But he needs to terrorize Stetson Bennett all day and Bama needs to win

Bro are you kidding me?? Guy is like a decent LB. You need to sit down and drink some water.

Outside LBer, yes. Derrick Thomas recorded 27 sacks in one season at Alabama. Who's gonna touch that one?

over the next 3 games record about 70 tackles, 15 sacks, 5 INTs and a couple touchdowns. Maybe run/throw for a couple too.

IOW...he has no chacne. And that's not a slight on him as a player, it's just the reality of the situatino.

Yeah, a hell of a lot easier today getting to QBs running RPO spreads out of 10 and 11 personnel looks.

Derrick Thomas once recorded 7 sacks in an NFL game. Anytime you choose to pull out a measuring tape concerning DT it will be apples to oranges.

He has 12.5 sacks and 20 TFL with at least 4 games left to go and maybe 5. He's a hell of a lot more the average and probably the best defender in the entire country.

Will Anderson is incredible. Both him and Georgia’s tackle have a case to be the best player in college football. However, unless his stat line the next 2 games reads 50-60 passing for 700 yards and 8 tds, he’s not winning the heisman. Props to devonte for last year, but the award is going to go to a qb for the foreseeable future. I don’t agree that it should be that way, but with the stats qbs put up today it’s going to go to a playoff contender’s qb.

Oh I totally agree. I was responding to the idiot above that said he was just an average LB. At this point, it's young's to lose.

He has no shot this season.

He does, however, have a chance to end the season with one of the greatest "terror" stat lines in college football history (sacks/TFLs) and propel himself into the picture to start 2022. And if he has another historic season next year, he'd have a slight chance to crack that nut.

Yeah I agree. Only thing that takes it from Young is a bama loss to auburn and 2 incredible performances/wins by Stroud to end the season.
