I apologize if I broken a rule on the board. Just thought it would be nice to have a conversation other than everything else lately. I keep getting downvotes so I guess I just suck. Haha cheers fellas!

Better late than never! We’re all gonna sit back and laugh at this in 10 years and it’s going to be weird to think Missouri and A&M got in before OU & Texas.

that sounds like a nasty drink and a shitty hangover if you're talking about mixing them lol

This is the South, man. The answer to "What y'all drinking?" is, was, and shall always be bourbon. Evan Williams Black, Jim Beam, and George Dickel 12 Year (technically a Tennessee whiskey and not a bourbon but just go with it) are my usual go-tos.
Scotch does go down mighty fine after a win, though. Laphroiag is the only correct answer here.

Depends on the tailgate and time of day. Mimosas, naturdays, canebreak, Abita strawberry, frozen daqs, bourbon & coke, bayou rum & arnold palmers, etc all have their place.
Usually want something cold, light, and a little sweet, alternating with water, so that you can stay cool and maintain a buzz all day.

Found something to make a UT trip worthwhile. Skip the stadium, the game, and most everything else in Knoxville.
Between pigeon forge, Gatlinburg, wears valley, Sevierville, Townsend, applevalley, I believe there are 14 distilleries and 8 vineyards. Every type of spirit is made from rum to vodka to cider. The craft beer stuff is starting to catch up but that’s really an after thought outside of Blount county.
And 30 miles outside of Gatlinburg you have Cherokee NC casinos with sport book gambling to go with slots and various card games. Plus the area is getting a reputation for decent golf courses now. And if you ride motorcycles the area offers excellent technical routes including the world famous tail of the dragon (dragon’s tail hwy 129).
That Tennessee game can be a great 3-4 day outing for the family or a guys weekend.
