Its a mix of things.

-Parking lot situation isn't ideal for a true tailgate feel, Parking lots for non boosters are very spotty and broken up.

-weather can be an issue. but most times its not.

-Our bar scene is great, and fans over time have really held on to just drinking at the bars. More than the general Fans, students are the ones who either stay where the frats are or just go to bars. Its mainly the students who stay away from tailgating.

Lastly, and this may be a desperate attempt to justify them(although I don't support the reason), MOST kids in this state don't grow up with college sports, they grow up watching pro sports, then eventually get into college sports either once they get to college or after. So I wonder if growing up with never really tailgating plays a part. Who knows.

Tailgating was for obvious reasons MUCH better this year with winning.

One more and probably the biggest reason I should have mentioned, 50-70% of the fans drive at least 1.5 hours(columbias distance to the 3 biggest cities) to the games. So 11 starts mean leaving the house 7am. and This also means driving 1.5 hours to a bar for a few beers and lunch just makes sense to them.

I hate that our younger fan base has substituted “OU Sucks” for a line in the Texas fight song.

Dude, your fans have been doing that for forty years.

As an OU fan I love it. Just like you think that "OU fans doing the "horns down" thing shows you are all up in our heads.

The enmity that you demonstrate in your "OU sucks" chant reminds me of how some housewife might scream at her husband after she finds out he has been screwing the hot neighbor lady next door.

As far as what I hate about OU fans is our over the top attempts to be "classy". We aren't going to be perceived as classy no matter what we do because we are Okies... so why try. LOL.

LSU

- Sky is falling mentality when things don’t go our way.
- STTDB chant - ok on here
- Support of MBB
- Small segments that make LSU look bad

Just wanted to comment that it is a shame that Mizzou's stadium is so far south from the bars and downtown. It would be an incredible scene if it were on the other side of campus instead of down there by the hospital.

Very fair-weather. Especially for basketball

Entitlement is also an issue from time to time

When did that start anyway? I feel like I only remember seeing it within the last 5 or 6 years. Did O start that or was it something that only some people used to do and then brought back?

- The fans who are either basketball only or basketball first fans, instead of football like most people with common sense have.

- The old blue hairs at Commonwealth and Rupp who are so entitled they don't feel the compulsion to stand and cheer or hoot and holler during a game ever. They even have the temerity to tell other UK fans to be quiet and sit down. frick those people. Watch at home if you're not going to cheer.

2. Our overplaying of Sandstorm. I love it at the beginning of the game or after a big touchdown, but my god we don't need to play it after kicking a field goal against Troy.

Sandstorm was best on defense. It originally got played on a big third down during a TV timeout. It was ELECTRIC

Now I'm embarrassed when we play it in the 4th quarter down by 20+ against UGA. It's sickening.

I hate the fans that bring up WBB as a bragging point against other sports. Don't respond to a clemson or UGA fan talking shite about football with a WBB brag. That will never hit

That doesn't happen on here that I see, but prevalent on Xitter.

1) How badly we trash athletes that don’t come to LSU, trashing the athletes that are at LSU.
2) The “STTDB” chant, demeaning visiting fans with drunk slurs makes for a non family friendly environment

We have fans that will anticipate the other shoe dropping, when something doesn't go our way. They come off as whiney by saying stuff like "That is so Mizzou", as if fate has something to do with it. Yeah, the 5th down sucked, but it's history.

This x 100. The "Woe is me!" attitude is so lame.

Also, the habitual falling back on, "I'm from the Show-Me state, so I'm not going to get excited about anything until they've done it x number of times" or whatever. Not only is that also lame, it's also probably a misread of what the state motto is actually all about. My understanding is that it really means, "Don't just tell me how to do something, show me how to do it."

a fair number of our fans appear to have a fetish for getting humiliated via their sports teams. Every time things don't go our way, you don't need to talk about putting your cup on , reminisce about all the times we were screwed over, and basically take a sky is falling attitude

I'll do it on here from time to time, but not as a truly serious reply or intent...

If I'm being honest, I mostly will just post Dawn Staley gifs/pics because I know she gets under people's skin. They're always good for a few dozen Dv's... ..
