Are Bama fans no longer Dolphins fans? They used to have to have a bunch of players down there, along with the Shula connection. And the Saban connection, I guess.

Firing Shula and then stealing Saban killed the Bama/Miami connection.
edit Now it is the Tide/Patriots connection. Winers attract winners apparently.

Bama and Saints fan here. The 2009-10 season was obviously great and I did feel a little greedy. Major downside to that year was that my dad was ill and died the day after the Auburn game. I sometimes wonder which game - the BCS Championship or the Super Bowl - he would've enjoyed the most.

Growing up the two teams I could see the most on TV were the Cowboys and Dolphins.
Dolphins had a lot of BAMA players in the late 70's/early 80's. Tony Nathan, Don McNeal, Bob Baumhower, Joe Carter.
Saints and Falcons sucked.

Not entirely true. True that many Bama fans do not have any one nfl team, but many Bama fans follow former players like Julio, Ingram, and Cooper.
