Because based on our schedule alone there's only 1 team with as much talent as we have and then theres auburn that's close. Our offense will be improved and.our defense will be legit with the talent we have and aranda coaching them, he has given me no reason to believe otherwise. That's the 2 games I'm worried about is bama and auburn. Florida doesn't worry me too much. I figure we would win at least 1 of the florida and auburn games and lose to bama. We could very well beat bama though. Idk, 8-4 just seems to be kinda lowballing this year's squad in my opinion. Why do you think we will lose 4 games and to who?

I think they will do well.

I HATE playing them at home.

Their Stadium is full of wierd people.

You never know what to expect.

But, they have delicious food and plenty of beer.

Nothing wrong with that.

We just want a bit more "biscuits, grits, and gravy" on the Plains.

Otherwise, we are basically brothers.

I think we win both of those games. I'm basing my prediction on if we play to the level we are capable of playing with the talent we have on the field. Could they frick up, sure, but they haven't given me a reason to think we will lose to state or tennessee.

I'll go with 9-3. If we're lucky, maybe 10-2. Not a favorable schedule for us this year.

Do you have faith in Orgeron

To be honest, no. I was beginning to warm up to O. and then that Florida fiasco happened.

The saving grace is the supporting cast. Coach Canada and Coach Aranda will determine, to a great degree, the course of the upcoming campaign.

Should be fine against BYU, but they'll want to win. Hopefully no mistakes. Should give a good insight to quarterback play.

Early Miss St would bring some concerns, but they should win no problem.

They'll beat Florida. Don't know how they lost that last year.

Alabama game will be good if they're surviving.

Don't like our chances this year, but anything can happen.

@Tenn will depend on if butch finally uses his talent.

And Texas A&M has got to beat them eventually, so that's a toss up.

Probably not what LSU fans think, but just my opinion.

I'm less concerned about Tennessee and Florida on the road than other opponents: Miss State will be a challenge, and of course Bama, and something about playing Ole Miss in Oxford is unsettling.

Nobody! 13-0 heading to the playoffs 15-0 after beating florida state in the championship game!

I look at Miss State the same way. No question there will be more talent on defense. The question is, will Dan Mullen not be a Les Miles and allow his (defensive) coaches to coach?

ETA: I don't mean Les Miles on defense, just the opposite but you get what I'm saying.

We have had pretty bad defenses under Mullen and I believe it's all on him. That bend but don't break garbage is nothing short of "Prevent defense."

It has killer us in some games vs the pass. Our new DC wants a more aggressive defense and going after the QB etc. We have the players now, but if Mullen gets his hands into that area then it won't make one bit a difference.

Seems unlikely if not just for the fact that LSU and perfect seasons don't mix.

Last time for LSU was 1958. Before that was 1908

Auburn has as many undefeated seasons in the last 15 years as LSU does since 1900

What CEO did at ole miss has nothing to do with LSU in '17. Tigers were much improved team from auburn game on last year. He implemented some very positive changes from his first day as head coach.

LSU put beat downs on mizzou, rebels, hawgs and aggies to finish the year. Don't think that would have happened with Les. Tigers might have won all four with him just, not in as a convincing fashion.

Went into offensive shell against the tide. "D" was outstanding that night though.

Kicked gators arse from one end of tiger stadium to the other . Difference in the games was a once in the history of the UF football program play.

As for the schedule I think a bigger deal than five SEC road trips is no back to back SEC road trips for LSU.

My expectations 11-1 (till we beat them), 10-2 floor.

Jr will be kicking arse and taking names.

9-3 or 10-2

This will be a good team. Very talented. Great coaching from coordinators and positions coaches. Jury out on Orgeron. Secondary needs to be replaced but the talent is there. Should be a strong team overall. Not a championship team.

The team last year should have gone 11-1 in the regular season. Could have. Very close. They didn't and they lost some leadership. Will they learn how to finish? 9-3 or 10-2 on the top end seems about right.
