Just titles maybe, nothing else. We have way WAY better academics, better city, better overall athletics, I like our tradition as in our past coaches and athletes (Earl Campbell, Ricky, VY, Cedric Benson, Kevin Durant) but yeah anyone would take their titles.

Texas can have Bama's 1941 title; would that make you happy?

Bama will keep Wallace Wade, Frank Thomas, Bear Bryant, Gene Stallings, Nick Saban, Joe Namath, Derrick Thomas, Ozzie Newsome, John Hannah, Kenny Stabler, Bart Starr, Cornelius Bennett, Marcell Dareus, DeVonta Smith, Julio Jones, Chris Samuels, Johnny Musso, Bobby Humphrey, Harry Gilmer, Lee Roy Jordan, Derrick Henry, Minkah Fitzpatick, Amari Cooper, Shaun Alexander, Tua Tagovailoa, Dont'a Hightower, C.J. Mosley, Najee Harris, Calvin Ridley, Josh Jacobs, Jalen Hurts, Quinnen Williams, Landon Collins, Mark Ingram, Johnny Cain, HaHa Clinton-Dix, Eddie Jackson, Don Hutson, Jaylen Waddle, Patrick Surtain, Eddie Lacy, Bryce Young, Mac Jones, George Teague, Dwight Stephenson, Rolando McClain, Mark Barron, Trent Richardson, DeMeco Ryans, Courtney Upshaw, Kareem Jackson, Dre Kirkpatrick, Trevon Diggs, Antonio Langham, Jerry Jeudy, T. J. Yeldon, David Palmer, AJ McCarron, Barrett Jones, Andre Smith, Terrence Cody, D.J. Fluker, Javier Arenas, Jeremiah Castille, E.J. I say around 98%. You are always gonna have a small percentage of idiots who don't know any better that Alabama has 100x the tradition and meaning titles than Texas.
That's a weird thing to ask tbh. I mean sure ANY school would like to have Bama's titles, but I don't think even aggy would take those if they also had to swap history and traditions.

Those last two things are things that developed in the 100+ years since all our universities first opened their doors, and unique to each state, region and town that hosts the school.

Texas only has 1 recent title, but we aren't Bama, UGA, Ohio State, Michigan Southern Cal, Clemson, etc. I know it is upsetting to you guys, but we do things the right way. By the way, you know Bama cheated to get that history, right? Or, are you retarded enough to think that kids from all over this country grew up just dying to go to a garbage academic university in a terrible part of the country?

Someone is making a run to take most entitled and retarded fan base from the Bama fans.

This could get interesting.

None of the top players would leave the state and we'd have many more football titles if that were true. Yes, nearly every school has done it some degree at some point, but ours was pretty spotty and small time compared to the schools landing top 5 classes every year. Our BMD's really didn't want to tarnish their image with that sort of thing...sometimes to the frustration of a certain portion of Texas fans, but it is what it is.

Edit- thankfully the SCOTUS came through and made the old school bag game irrelevant, now we can really play.

A nice way to debunk this is to say this is conjecture and speculation.

An honest way to debunk this is to say this is utter horseshite and since scholarship limits were implemented in 1973 and ushered in the most competitive era of college football - Texas has 1 championship since playing on a level field with everyone.

100% disagree. I just got back from there and it's an overcrowded piece of crap. And I had to watch a group of your idiot students waving Palestinian flags from an overpass. Won't be back, not that it matters.

Graduating from Bama’s business school is very well respected. Several UT Austin MBAs work under me. We have many Ivy Leaguers as well and let’s just say the UT Austin grads aren’t running the company.

Not to mention they acted like complete clowns at the 2009 championship game between Texas and Bama in Pasadena. Their fans very Loud, drunk, aggressive shite talkers. Glad Bama kicked their arse on the field.

If Texas was paying players, there would NOT have been any noticeable difference between the SEC-perfected under the table deals and the Court approved-NCAA NIL programs.

Noticed any difference at all in the Texas recruiting the past few years?

What % would swap ...? Damn near zero!

The University of Texas is much bigger than just a football team.

I rather have my education from The University of Texas at Austin with shite athletics any day than ever trade it with Alabama just because of titles.

Thanks for offering up some totally unrelated topics that were never inquired about in any way.

Example of Original Poster's Question: Do you like blue skies or rain clouds?

Your oblivious answer: I eat peanut butter on chicken because I like it and don't care what anyone says.

Try to stay on topic within a thread. You seem very proud of your education from Texas University but don't seem to know how to communicate properly. That doesn't shine a good light on the aforementioned education.

No one asked you about education, motherfricker, this is a football board.

A&M gave Eric Dickerson a gold Trans Am, and yet he still picked SMU over A&M. Talk about embarrassing.

It's going to be fun to watch the SEC beat the "eliteness" from the Shorthorns.

They just think they are elite. They had to get a bad call against Houston last year to beat them. Wait till SEC pounds on them weekly.

And none of todays HS Seniors were even alive the last time tua won a football Natty.

They won two Natty's in the 60's but overall their record since scholarship limits in 1973 isn't some great eliteness.
