He's young and just needs more experience. No coach can be expected to replace both Bear Bryant and Saban within just a one season stretch.

DeBoer doesn't have his players on the roster yet; he needs his type of recruits that can play his type of ball. There was no way for him to just rush in and replace Milroe because Milroe is a good person and has the support of the team. It would have been racist to replace Milroe if the other players didn't approve of that.

Maybe next season, Milroe will move on to the NFL and then DeBoer will be free to do what he wants. The only other way to replace Milroe, at this point, would be for the players to have a team meeting and replace him with another QB.

Overall, DeBoer just needs time and the support of the team leaders to do his job properly. If they decide he is a quality coach, look out, Bama will be deadly.

I had a friend that used to post there years ago, an Alabama fan, and he was banned for next to nothing. Saban had accepted the Bama job about 3 days prior, he hadn't even landed on campus yet, and about 95% of Tiger Rant was in a gnashing their body parts/killing their pet raccoons and nutria rats mode.

There were rumors everywhere that Saban wasn't really going to coach Bama and it was all just some type of horrible, back-water bayou induced dream and, if anything, he would change his mind and come back home to the piss stained streets of Red Stick.

My friend offered his services to help them figure out what was happening and stated, among other things, that Miss Terry was recently seen house hunting in BR and she hated Tuscaloosa because it was a slum city full of unreasonable and unrealistic fans, not a paradise of sophistication like Baton Rouge.

About a thousand desperate coonasses immediately flocked to the thread begging for any more information and stating how they knew it couldn't be real that Saban was going to Alabama. He actually loved them and wouldn't dare betray them.

Next thing you know, after the thread reached about 30 pages, my friend was banned for some unknown reason. They are very touchy over there, trust my friend.
