No one in the East has a Joe Burrow on the roster, so color me unconcerned.
UGA wins the East easily once again
UGA wins the East easily once again

It's pretty obvious that Emory Jones is a bust, so I guess we'll see about Richardson.
Trask is the best returning SEC QB for next year, why would you think Emory is a bust based on limited playing time? His rating is very high, too, 150.6. Trask is at 156.1.
The problem is that we just don't have someone to replace Emory if Emory goes down, so we have to limit the way he plays/how often he can play. Two scholarship QBs is rough, since Franks obviously got injured in the beginning of the year.
And I'll say: Emory is better than any transfer QB you have coming in and for damn sure better than any QB you have on roster right now.

I loved that one time your all-star defense got carved up by Joe Burrow. You guys were just very fortunate to play the backup QB against:
Baylor (for almost a half)
Florida
Missouri
Kentucky
Tennessee
and South Carolina (for almost a half).
Anyone could have inflated self-worth of their defense when almost half of the P5 teams they played on the year didn't even have their first string QB play for the entire game.
Multiple funny things in this post:
1) Talks about Joe Burrow carving up UGA as if Joe Burrow is suiting up for a college team in 2020.
2) Brags on Kyle Trask’s season and then says Georgia played a “backup” QB against Florida.
ETA: also, the Baylor qb got injured mid 4th quarter, and the Tennessee QB started multiple games over Guarantano.

What was this shitty QBs name?
Who will be your QB next year?

prediction is that Jamie isn’t an idiot and goes to Oregon to play in a real offense.
Oregon hasn’t had an offense as good as our 2018 offense.

He won the National Championship? So, no, it hasn't refuted.
The offense didn't lose the natty so yes your point is still retarded
quote:
overtime he accounted for three touchdown passes. If Alabama had played him the entire game Georgia wouldn't have even been in the game. Alabama went from 0 to 26 to win
If Tua started we would have prepared for him and not Jaylen. Did you suddenly forget how we shut Tua down in the 2018 SECCG?

He was okay that year, but we can see that without those two Kirby's offenses are not nearly productive when they need to be
If you actually watched last season you would know Fromm had regressed from the year before and for the first part of the season Coley was not calling great plays

ou guys got 286 yards total against LSU at a neutral site.
Trask threw for 310 yards in Death Valley at nigh
Who gives a shite, transitive property doesn't mean a thing in football.

Instead it was Georgia getting rolled by LSU despite having all of that talent.
LSU had a stable of elite receivers and cornerbacks. LSU also had white Cam Newton on their side. Meanwhile Georgia was down multiple offensive playmakers and our receivers were dropping easy TDs.

Every defense got carved up by Joe, what the hell are you on about?

That must be why all the experts loved put defense and why the defense only allowed one rushing TD all regular season which hadn't happened in 20 years.
Oh and your great QB got punked by Georgia in Jacksonville

I like Trask, but that's not a particularly high bar he's setting there.
I'm fairly sure Bama, LSU, UGA, and AU like their QB chances. Great year to break in a new QB.

I wouldn’t have any faith in a Mullen offense getting past 17 on one of Kirby’s defenses if I were you. How many times has it happened? The other things that concern me, if I’m a Florida fan, are Todd Grantham’s defense and the Florida coaching staff’s ability to completely nut up in Jax. Watching Mullen go full Charlie Pell/Galen Hall is a thing of beauty - sweet fourth down play Daniel. And I would imagine the Florida secondary is still trying to figure out where Raging Larry Cager is. He was the only guy they had to cover.

I don't think Georgia is even remotely close to beating Alabama if Tua had started in 2017. Of course, the cookie can crumble in many ways but the moment he came in you knew that Georgia's defense wouldn't be able to stop him.
That is uncertain. In regulation, Tua was 13/23 for 121 yards, 2 tds, and 1 int, which is a passer rating of 120, so its not like he was some unstoppable force, and that was without a pregame focus on him.
You are avoiding the point, which is UGA shouldn't have been able to go toe to toe with Bama in 2017 or 2018. We also shouldn't have been able to outscore OU in a playoff game using your logic.

I think at this point folks we just let the Dawg fans have their fantasy scenarios where they have stumbled across the second coming via grad transfer with a bunch of QBs that weren’t really great where they were our were backups
Because transfer QB's have never had success. Just the last 3 heisman winners and 3/4 QB's in the playoffs...

This is why I was saying Kirby mismanaged the QB position, and will be the reason that he couldn't get those championships. Now we're going into 2020 and there are zero QBs in the system who have playing time. Dwan couldn't play all year, Stetson barely threw, Beck is a true Freshman (who isn't a generational talent) and a transfer who obviously will only be there for...a year?
You know I agree he picked the wrong qb, and Fromm leaving early proves that point even moreso.
The thing is, even if he picks fields in 2018, then who would our backup have been for 2019?
Mullen got lucky at qb. He also picked the wrong guy, but an injury bailed him out. To help him out even more, he had a capable option who would rather have been a career backup to franks than transfer elsewhere, which is unheard of these days.

Tua came into the game playing on an injured leg, then injured the ankle in the first quarter. That ankle was scoped the next day.
You played a healthy Tua the year before and he torched your defense.
