This should help Bama’s playoff chances should they win the remaining games on the schedule and beat Georgia in the SEC Championship. Congratulations on your accomplishment. Not everyone can be the best 3 loss team

That said, I am saddened that a 2 TD win vs a top 15 LSU accounted for 0 movement. I blame TX. Playing average with a backup QB, they are losing the eye test to Oregon and Bama can't pass them unless they lose. Those bastards are sandbagging on purpose

Honestly though, I've not watched much of the Pac outside of Oregon and Washington, and both look really good. I was surprised to see Arizona jump into the top 25 with 3 losses. Are they actually playing well, or living off some close games vs a couple good teams. Didn't they lose to State?

They are just keeping Bama’s SOS high, per REC orders

That was a lot funnier when Steve Spurrier said that about Tennessee.

Obviously strength of schedule means nothing anymore.

I'm not shocked an LSU fan would feel that way.

Well TBH, he said that shtuff about Tennessee because they were, usually, second best in the division. He never really said too much about GA... he just wanted to beat the shite out of them.

That man addressed his trauma from UGA during his UF QB days mercilessly during his coaching years.

100 percent fact. Of course, he took a LOT of stress out against most of the conference. I mean, why stop with GA?

I didn't really expect any movement for Bama. There are a couple more weeks for Bama to inch up the rankings, and Championship weekend could be a cluster if we beat UGA and other teams falter. But for the time being, unless another team in the 1-7 position falters, we will be chilling.

2007-2008 still hurts. Mizzou was way better than LSU.
