the ncaa owes Alabama 30 victories they decided UA should forfeit or vacate. 21 of those games were because players didn't turn back in textbooks.
Do we get our money back from speeding tickets when the limit was at 55 mph? I want justice dammit!

It’s the same as it always has been. It’s just out in the open now

Ohio State lost a season because players traded items they owned for tattoos. frick the old NCAA. You couldn’t even barter items you owned.

Yes.

And if so, why is this an exception?
Because college football has been a system predicated on the exact opposite approach for 100+ years.

Wait...WAIT!! I thought the whole purpose of The Alliance was to keep things from becoming a mini-NFL. I thought they were excited about the vision of keeping the "student" in student-athlete. What happened?

I don’t like this at all.
Why? Bama has been buying new cars for players since the early days of Bear.
Y'all hate it that other schools can outbid your cheating asses and do it above board.

Did they get Volts or Vettes?

Give it another few years and the starting QBs will be pulling up in Rolls Royces

This is the dumbest possible take on this situation.
So your take is that the new NIL law changes nothing?

Yeah Alabama only gave out Chargers to the top 125 players on the team. Very discreet about it too.

No, it changes a lot. It means you guys stop winning championships.
There are many boosters that are willing to pay players now that it's legal. College football isn't being about the most dishonest anymore and it scares you to death.

I don’t either. High profile players are going to be driving Jags while the unheralded players are riding scooters around campus.

Heard this before and though there are slower times than others, the Tide is still winning championships. Guess who isn't still winning championships? Texas.

Not a good look for college sports.
This will end up hurting the game. I know I am turned off by this. I'm sure lots of "lesser" kids in the locker room won't be too happy either.
