I forgot how whiny people get over these polls.
The coaches and Baseball News also had A&M at 20 last week. Baseball News is hands down the worst of all the publications. I wouldn't worry too much about some being biased. I think its pretty clear Rogers goes out of his way to be unbiased with A&M.

How is A&M only 15? Is your team not all that good this year?

well we lost 5 of our top 6 bats and 3 of our top 4 pitchers. we have a generous ranking at this point.

We lost our top 7 RBIs, top 8 in HRs, & top 6 in Runs. Easy to argue 7 out of top 8 most important batters. Then you switch to hitting where our 11 win Sat night guy is gone. Our 0.42 ERA closer is gone. Our all-time leader guy in appearances is gone. We had 4 guys make double-digit starts last year, only one returns.
So basically the guys who lead our team to 99 wins the last 2 seasons are gone.

15 is probably about right. They remind me of LSU last year. Lot of young talent but probably a year away from a deep postseason run.

That is a fair comparison. TCU & LSU both lost a ton and weren't supposed to be good last year. Both went on to have great years. I hope A&M can get close to that.

I knew they were a relatively younger team but still pretty shocking. They'll come around though.

I don't think they're any more or less shite that any other sport's rankings. As we discussed A&M has no business near the top 10 until we prove it with all the new players.
