Week 1 - SEC ATS Pick'em (Cutoff: Thursday, Sept. 2nd @ 7:00pm CST) SECATSWEEK1

Someone used to do this but I don’t see any evidence of it this year, so I’m picking it up. This will be a pick’em against the spread for all SEC games during the season. I will strive to post the games and lines on Sunday, along with the results of the previous week.

You can pick as many or as few games as you want but you must pick at least 40 throughout the season to win. Why 40? That's what was done before. The teams in all caps are the home teams. The team listed first is the favorite. Just copy each line you want and BOLD the team that you think will win against the spread. Here is an example:

ALABAMA -2 Clemson

This means that Alabama is the home team and is favored by 2. You are picking Clemson to cover the 2 points.

You can’t submit or edit picks after the cutoff.

The lines come from the consensus listed on VegasInsider.com. There is no line on South Carolina or Vandy this week.

I noticed that there was some inconsistency in the way the topics were worded each week in the past and I doubt this will get stickied so I will have a term in the topic each week that will, hopefully make it easier to search. E.g. SECATSWEEK1. I’ll just change the week number in that term every week.

Winner will be the one with the best winning percentage (with a 40 game minimum). Pushes are ignored. Not sure what the prize will but I'll update it asap.
