And how did that SECCG appearance work out for y’all? Fifty!!
In the last two appearances, we won one and lost one...

Fifty. And it could have been worse if Kirby hadn’t started playing bench warmers.

When LSU makes the transition from their typical 3-4 loss season to a 5-6 loss season on a regular basis, you may understand.
No, scratch that. You won't.
Do you have any advice for us on being a subpar mediocre program?

2019 could have been worse if LSU had not gotten conservative.

Norvell might have been a better choice

I read through the linked thread.
I saw a LOT of posters, including the first one, lamenting the death of college football, not just retirement of Saban.
College football had TV dealed, NIL'ed, transfer portaled and conference realigned itself into just a minor league for the NFL.
And as a sportswriter opining on the same subject wrote NOBODY cares about minor league anything.
College football as we knew and loved it is dead.
It is now TV-ratings-driven business put on mainly for the benefit of sports gamblers, and will soon be cut down to only 40 or so programs.
Minor league pro football.
And nobody really cares about minor league anything.

Now one of the best ideas has come out, just stop going to games
To fund the team we may have to stop going to games

side note......Walmart is pulling all bama merchandise from their shelves. They remember the Shula years and don't want to waste the space.

Can’t speak for anyone else, but I am extremely happy with the hire. Sure, the portal shite sucks and I expect the NCAA to change the rules on that…certainly won’t help us now, but our staff is younger and will be out to prove something this year and going forward.
You all are scared af.

quote:Are you seriously, just now taking a look at your fanbase? My wife (no pics) graduated from there. I like to point out her "brothers" in that fanbase when I see the bizarre shite y'all do to your yards and houses in regards to a football team. Especially considering, most have never had their feet touch campus soil.
Not a good look. You have to support your team through thick and thin. This is not doing it.
Absolutely the most bandwagon fanbase in the world!

What pussy arse, spoiled fans Bama people are... All those sidewalk fans bout to drop and go somewhere else.
I wont deny this...but the post in question is lamenting the state of cfb, not the new coach. Im fine with Bama being the sacrificial lamb if things change
