Texas is the fifth best team in the conference. They only had to play one of the top four, and lost. Then they get both of the the two weakest teams in the playoffs, and now they get their first game against a real team at home.

But they will lose that one. Probably convincingly.

I'm not going to trash Florida cause I actually like the gators but how does the flagship of the most talented rich state, with all that history of heismans and championships play this poorly? We could have used the Gators to prop up the SEC. I hope ya'll get it together next year.

Made it further than you all in the CFP after qualifying due to the lack of competition. Yes I’m aware Florida didn’t help, but we were without our QB

do you make as many excuses for being a life loser as you do to explain Florida’s losses?

I hate that conference championships have so little impact. GA beats TX twice and wins conference. But TX could be national champion. I could understand if they only played once. If GA and TX had met in championship, GA would have to go 3-0 vs TX while TX would only have to 1-2. It’s not MLB.

Sums up the gators since 2008.

But this gator fan, literally, has zero clue how that makes him look.

I’m No Texas fan but did you see what Florida put on the field against Texas this year? Then proceeded to get a big upset the next week?
Florida showed no pride and got their arse kicked for it.

This is the most untrue statement ever made… Two wins from a natty. That’s ALL that matters.

I thought we played Michigan, who beat Ohio State, and then knocked the crap out of Alabama? Was that in the multi-verse?

Michigan was in a bad slump when we dominated them at their place. So was ATM. Come to think of it, Florida too.

And, to prove our unquestioned reign, we just forced Jawga into embarrassing the conference to clear our path to the natty.

UT’s world domination is nearly complete.

So here is the all time record of Texas vs. SEC teams as of 2024 CCG. Texas is trending up with strong leadership from AD Chris Del Conte and Coach Sarkisian. Who's going to be doing better? Texas holds series advantage over all SEC teams except Vandy and USCe. Vandy and USCe will fold to Texas within the next decade or so depending on match ups scheduled.
Texas isn't locked in with the SEC, the SEC is locked in with Texas.

Team, Series, Tx Win %, Last winner

Alabama 8-2-1, 0.727%, Tx 2023
Arkansas 57-23-0, 0.713%, Tx 2024
Auburn 5-3-0, 0.625%, Aub 1991
Florida 3-0-1, 0.750%, Tx 2024
Georgia 4-3-0, 0.571%, GA 2024
Kentucky 2-0-0, 1.000%, Tx 2024
LSU 9-8-1, 0.500%, LSU 2019
Miss 6-2-0, 0.750%, Miss 2013
Miss St 3-2-0, 0.600%, Tx 2024
Missouri 18-6-0, 0.750%, Tx 2017
Oklahoma 64-51-5, 0.533%, Tx 2024
Tenn 2-1-0, 0.667%, Tx 1969
Tex A&M 77-37-5, 0.647%, Tx 2024
S Car 0-1-0, 0.000%, SC 1957
Vandy 4-8-1, 0.308%, Tx 2024

If only we had been able to play Alabama in Tuscaloosa again instead of Georgia, we would have gone 12-0.

I wasn't aware that Michigan was in the SEC. Let me know in which of your multiverses that alternate reality exists.

Or maybe you should put in the extra effort required to follow the subject of the thread

Here, I'll help

"they lost twice to the only SEC team with a pulse that they played."

Does that help?

Gifted? Gifted nothing, we sent little brother years ago to assure our soft schedule. How else do you think we have both aggy and pig on our permanent schedule?

The sec has underestimated Texas' power to manipulation, with both aggy and pig we're guaranteed two wins before the season ever starts, every year.

Of course we first had to convince both aggy and Arkansas this was in their best interest. No problem there. They're both accustom to taking their marching orders from the Horns.

STFU you coattail riding dork. You pussies in Austin and Norman were too scared to leave back in the day and waited until you were told to, albeit having years to prepare for a league that is softer now than it was back when A&M and Mizzou joined.

Florida has so many more things to worry about than Texas.
