I have two Tex-Exs in my family, both are Alabama fans though. Reason they both went to Texas is one of them had a stalker boyfriend at Bama and they thought to get away from him they need to go someplace he would not find them.
They love Texas is coming to the SEC but admit that the Texas is in for a shock.

The poster I was replying to specifically said “college football was leaving Texas behind.” I quickly noted that money typically runs the direction of college football.
As it just so happens, nobody has more money than Texas. As such, Texas would literally be the last team left behind in today’s college football climate.
Again, I know it’s hard to understand given your Arkansas education (sorry you couldn’t get in btw), but HTH

Never happened. What did happen was that Texas WR Mike Davis was flagged for doing a "guns down" to the crowd after a touchdown at Texas Tech. Mack then -- totally reasonably -- asked why that was a penalty and Horns down wasn't.

Not sure what that tweet is supposed to prove. It literally says it isn't about horns down... don't let your hate for Texas inhibit your ability to read.
Literally every single team we play does horns down constantly, and I've never seen a penalty called. I'm sure it's happened, but it isn't common.
