Of course he's going to say that, but what other team in that conference has a gesture which is expressly used against them? So it is a Horns Down rule by virtue of the fact that it applies to no one else.

Catch 22 pulling for them is gross af but rooting for your conference while not rooting for texass is preferential treatment which is a lot of the reason fans dislike them

The whole big 12 stance, including the thing you tweeted, was that horns down is a specific example for a no taunting rule. And ironically enough, it’s literally never been called for horns down since the rule’s inception in 2019.
Since then, there have been games where Texas gets flagged for doing the “shh” to the crowd, but no reciprocation. Which is fine; it’s all a bullshite rule to begin with.
But the notion that texas “made the Big 12 make it a rule”, or that it in any way has benefitted Texas on the field, is so laughably clueless. Especially when people fail to realize it’s more flattering to us than anything

I am so looking forward to having intelligent dialogue with fans of other SEC teams.

Maine feels as SEC as the Texas Longhorns.
Better than aTm, but that’s a whole different discussion.
