Fans of every other team have been predicting that Saban is done and this is his last year since he has been at Alabama. Yet he keeps grinding and winning national championships and proving them wrong. Could this be what finally brings him down? Is Nick going to be able to handle all of the outside interference and distractions that this is going to cause? Nick has to have total control of his organization. Im wondering if the NIL deals will eventually wear on Nick or does he simply do what he always does and find a way to make it work for him better than anyone else?

I'll hang up and listen.

Go talk to Paul FineBaum. He is good at this!

Can’t we just go one single day without you guys making dumb threads like this? Makes me think you are insecure about the future.

When he does retire you guys are going to go into hiding like a bear during hibernation.

Yeah. There's no way Bama will hire another coach good enough to take advantage of the stacked roster that Saban will inevitably leave behind.

Right?

Of what team is is alter a fan? I’m going with LSU or Auburn. Most likely Auburn due the projection evident in the username.

Horrible attempt

Coach Saban will figure out how to create value for his program with NIL.

If he quits coaching, it won’t be because “X changed and he could not handle it”

When NIL becomes steady state, Saban will have it figured out better than any other coach.

He’s probably got the business school working on it night and day.

I’ll give you a hint. What schools have the most corporate CEOs?

Our QB is already making a million and hasn't taken a snap yet this year.

Every time there's been a change to how things are done everyone figured it was the "Saban killer" only to find out he can just do it better and was usually planning ahead for it long before anyone else.

Yep. Bama will be here forever. Bobby Bowden is still at FSU. And FSU is in the national hunt today cause what you are saying totally is true, like forever. It’s never gonna change.

All those cars and cash Bama has been spending can be spent above board by other schools.

A long and storied Bama tradition is that of being the filthiest program in NCAA history.

You are the only program to have a booster go to Federal prison and in turn be murdered for getting caught.

Bowden got old; I'm sure Saban will eventually show his age.

Saban was definitely better at adapting than Bowden though. Bowden didn't see nearly as many changes to the game as Saban has while at Alabama.

Who announced that his QB that's never started a college football game has already got nearly $1,000,000 of endorsement money?

OP makes a solid point. It could and I wouldn’t blame him.

That’s a personal decision but the guy is already the GOAT, most likely more than set financially and still seems in pretty good health. Plenty of solid reasons to retire.
