QB's think they can play NFL and want to be in an offense that remotely resembles a pro style. haven't seen that in Auburn since.....?
were we promised that with Golesh?

Might as well run power I and get this sh$t back to bully ball with an Oline that is nfl caliber and RB’s three deep. We can’t/havent/wont recruit develop a QB worthy of SEC caliber status

Hugh's recruiting, but that just made the games/seasons all the more frustrating. At least with Harsin and this season I knew we were going to suck.

And yet they still haven't learned the lesson. Our Last 2 ADs were/are tied to Baseball not football.

I hope Golesh puts it together but so far having Durkin in my opinion is something that he was forced into. Who knows how long he has to keep him but it may be not that long. More outings like this and it will be evident. We did score 39 points. Our O looks inept but if our D had gotten them to at least punt then I think we might have had a different game.

Probably Nix, and half you idiots on here chased him off because he wasn’t an all American his freshmen year.
Very true, and don’t even get me started on the idiots claiming TJ Finley was better and needed to play.

After watching the cut-ups on X it is abundantly clear that we don’t have P4 talent anywhere on either LOS. Our OL and DL were repeatedly abused and physically dominated. You can be “sound gap” and “technique” all you want to but this is a case of boys against men. We don’t have one starter on either side of the line of scrimmage who would start for another SEC team, save maybe Arkansas.

Sadly, I miss Chaplin’s false starts.

It was just 5 yards.

Yes we have a talent issue Fl retained more talent we did have Durkin on D still there but he didn’t retain talent. Also Golesh wasn’t probably doing pre portal season and Sumerall and staff probably was. So easier choice is FL. Golesh left scrambling on players. However my point about durkin still stands. Fl one punted once hope he gets a HC offer this off season and takes it.

This. Jared Smith might start for a few schools, but that's about it. Hell, no one on the entire defense (save Atkins and Melendez) would start for the top half of the SEC. Do you think UGA, Bama, Texas, LSU, UF would be after anyone on our defense if they were free agents? Hell no. Kirby might take a few for the scout team, but that's about it.

O-line is even worse. About 3 of them would struggle to start in the Big-12, much less the SEC. The German kid will be a solid guard one day, but all the others are just out of their league. They should have been left in the G6 where they belong.

D-lines in the SEC are composed of some dudes, many of whom will make NFL rosters. You've got to have some nasty O-lineman to put against them. You can get away with some G6'ers at the skill positions, but not in the trenches.
