AU started out #15-17 in the preseason poll in '04 and never had a chance to get in the NCG. Bama started out #23 in '08 and was #1 for 5-6 weeks. Granted, we didn't win anything in '08, but that is pretty much indicative of how Bama and AU is perceived nationally.
And use more periods in your posts...they can be your friend.

This whole thread is kind of ironic. I thought AU fans obsessed over the Iron Bowl and only focused on it during the off season. If it is just another game for the Bama fans, then why start it and spend 8 pages attacking the team you beat?

This site is far and away, full of the most trollable people I've ever witnessed in my life. I really feel bad for them sometimes, but it is pretty funny and is definitely helping my friday go by that much faster.

Alabama would not have jumped Oklahoma or USC in 2004, so this point is no point at all.

By what measure? That hypothetical entails that Alabama goes undefeated against Auburn's schedule and then jumps Oklahoma/USC, which isn't happening.
