I know the dawgs are eligible for this discussion but they had a real schedule. With all the talent on the horns and a future top 5 pick backup QB...i expect more than a miracle wild card round victory over arizona state.

Ole Miss, at least Texas made the playoffs.

How did we under achieve? We won the conference, lost our QB in the process and ended up losing in the playoffs. However, if you're saying we should expect to win it all every year, and it's underachieving if we don't, then I will take that as a compliment because you're saying we're that far ahead of every other college football program.

You lost to an 8-5 Michigan team with their 8 best players sitting out, shut the frick up.

Is bama eligible for the discussion?
Preseason top 5 team in the nation, missed the playoffs, ended up outside the top 10 and didn’t even get 10 wins…

Bama was good enough to beat Georgia & dominate LSU in Baton Rouge and yet you ended the year with a ReliaQuest Bowl loss...how are you not the most underachieving team? You're half a retard though and I don't expect a logical response.
You also got boat-raced by the shittiest Oklahoma team in decades

When winning an SEC championship is considered underachieving you definitely have an argument as to how the playoff system is damaging the traditions that made college football so special

It is the little Bammers. I mean, Vanderbilt LOL. And the Realiquest Bowl Runner Up? Not good

Not happy how it ended but we were the only sec team to win a playoff game. In fact, we won 2.
Ga won the sec.
The winner has to be bama or ole miss

Well according to them they had a QB who could have won the Heisman in his sophomore High School year sitting on the bench, so yeah, I guess by that metric.

I'm going with Ole Miss. Texas, though underachieving based on the roster talent and ease of schedule, at least made the playoffs. Ole Miss, on the other hand, completely missed the playoffs and had more than enough talent to make a run.
Alabama is certainly in the discussion, but coaching changes, regardless of returning talent, always inject dynamics that can disrupt in the first year. Also, the talent that transferred out was not replaced by equal talent that transferred in, resulting in a lot of inexperienced freshmen having to play.
