offer? Regardless of teams it sure seems a bit unprofessional to make an offer then recind it due to “second thoughts” or whatever Texas wants to call it. It’s not like Stoops used a Texas credit card at a strip club haha.

Not unlike Muschamp’s “douchy” rescinding the DC role he “accepted.”

Texas hired position coaches based on his “accepting” the job offer.

It cuts both ways.

Boosters would not allow it. Sark has to listen to his masters

There is a difference between an individual and a hiring organization.

This is exactly why they’ll never be elite again. Basically the same issue as the cowboys. No real coach wants to be a puppet.

Yeah, that was never going to work in Austin.

There were a lot better reasons than this pic to not hire him.

Sark, CDC and Texas dodged a bullet.

BTW, how else do you deal with a douche?

The way that played out is just a perfect example of why Texas sucks. They hire coaches and then won’t let them run the program.

I'll keep the hat. Works for me. You can keep Antifa and BLM and your worthless smelly hippies.

Really illustrates just how inept Texas has been in recent memory to offer a job only to rescind in part due to political beliefs. If y’all had done your homework in the first place y’all wouldn’t come off as clowns.

Bingo. Without boosters there is no major programs. But at the same time you gotta step back and give the HC control. That’s the formula that made places like Alabama and Clemson the way that they are. This is not only a Texas problem is seen across the country. Look at USC.

Sark won’t make it there - at TX you either need to know how to work the boosters like Mack or tell them to go f themselves like Nick did - Sark is in the middle and it will be a disaster

A&M had to learn this lesson with Fisher. Before Fisher, the boosters made the hires. With him, they were told that they were only going to be writing checks so Fisher could build the program the way he wanted.

The rest is recent history

Can you people ever have a normal conversation without making it about A&M? This doesn’t have shite to do with A&M. Literally nothing. Not relatable yet you try to make it relatable.
