I would be worried about that too but two things should preclude poor play. The loss to UF woke these guys up and last year we took an arse-whipping with a capital A and they remember it. This team knows they have some payback to dish out.

That being said I do not expect it to be an easy or pushover win. The key will be the MSU pass rush. If Burrow has time he will hurt them.

I tend to agree with this. MSU is no slouch either. I see LSU winning, but glad the game is in BR.

Bully manufactures a pass rush. He is going to send more people than you have to block, they even let the players design blitzes, no joke. They also have a good speed rush guy, I forget his name but he's damn good. They know they can't give Joe time and they won't.

On O they still do not throw very well and LSU's excellent secondary should enable them to load the box. You can't let Fitzgerald beat you running, like that's a big secret. But their line does a good job run blocking. They are good at what they do.

The operative line in your narrative.

Physically and psychologically this is a different Tiger team. We got punched in the mouth last year and didn't respond. This LSU group will respond.

Anything could happen but I think the Tigers will bitch slap Moo U this year: Starkville, Baton Rouge or the lunar surface.

You are correct, I’m sure though the LSU coaching staff will be reminding the team all week about last year. State should have LSU’s full attention, I’m sure the players remember what happened last year also. I said at the start of the year State would be a dangerous team with all the returning players and I still stand by that. This will be a physical game and I will be excited to see if LSU is ready to take the next step and play at the same level as the Georgia game.

One other factor in this and it showed up last week. Mullen has Aranda's kryptonite somewhere. He gashed us last year and this year in Gainsville. This game depends on how much Moorhead can duplicate from last year.

The fact that LSU got their asses handed to them last year will be the reason they don't overlook this one at all. Tigers going in dry LSU 38 Clangers 17

Good. Let the script continue. We lose to a team we could have beat and then play with a chip on our shoulder the next week and beat a team we are a huge underdog against.

A trap game to a team that beat you by 30 last year? I get it’s State but I don’t believe you have your definitions correct. State can beat us, a lot of team “can” beat us but so far only one has so I’m hoping that trend continues.

I could see this being a trap game if we had bama the week after but we don’t. we have an entire 2 weeks to rest up and get ready for bama after state. Until then, all attention on beating the shite out of another dawg.

LSU fans will worry about LSU. You and your tribe should worry about Bama. But thanks for the continuing concerns for us. See you in 2 weeks.

The reason I say trap game is LSU's schedule . I would have to say right now it is the toughest in the country and playing who they have all in a row makes this one a possible trap game even with a week off ahead.

Too many big ones too close together. All must wins and no breathers. I think you win but it is hard to get up week after week, Coach O is an emotional type and that well has a bottom.

I think the arse whipping we got last year will be used in place of being the underdog this week. Next game after that we will go back to the underdog motivation
