Walton out here giving his Alma matter like $5,000,000 and Arkansas hundreds of millions. Worst alumni ever.

Waltons are full of it. They could chill out a bit on curating each town in NWA to their flavor of the day. While it has positives, in Fayetteville, it's hypocritical of the far left agenda the City of Fayetteville preaches. People will soon be priced out of NWA in droves. Home prices per sq. ft. in certain areas, and the majority of Bentonville, rival markets like Nashville and Dallas. You will need to be affluent to thrive as a citizen in Northwest Arkansas soon if you already don't. Glad I got out of the area with more to offer than biking for the cost of living. It will all implode.

Eventually with all growth everything starts getting expensive. Hopefully it doesn't start becoming a negative in the future but it is inevitable.

I tend to think it’s outpacing itself and will overheat if active effort to pull new residents in from CA and TX doesn’t cease relatively immediately. I bought my house in Fay for $155K in 2018, sold it for $220K earlier this year and now it’s valued at $245K. This house isn’t shitty but far from nice and even further from updated. There’s also a decent unemployment issue in Fayetteville but you wouldn’t ever be informed of that. Odd shite is happening in that area and everyone is out to lunch.

I can get behind that. Spending money on a bunch of cocky children in NIL is not for me.
