So are you saying Lane is not a guy that attracts attention and controversy? I've given you my stance. Honestly I don't care at this point. We would only see LSU in a potential SEC championship matchup and after watching your QB I don't see it happening.

Most people believe what they want to believe. If you give them a plausible talking point that suits their beliefs, they'll run with it and never think twice. Like the idea that conferences can easily do an end run around the courts' injunctions. People here spout that like it's written in stone. If it was that easy, every defendant would find alternative ways to resume their court-sanctioned behavior.

I don't owe you anything. The other members obviously think LSU was in on the lawsuits filed by the players. They consider that to be a problem. Like I said, at this point I just want you guys to get to Atlanta so we can put 50 on you again.

No, we are not afraid of LSU. We beat Ole Miss when Kiffen was there after spotting them how many points? Didn't they get TD's on their first 5 drives. And yet Lane couldn't finish it. That was a Ryan Day esque implosion. In the pantheon of coaches that scare me as a Georgia fan (Spurrier, Saban and maybe Urban Meyer), Lane is less than a pimple on their asses. Like I said, I hope you make Atlanta. That's the only way we'd get to see you outside of you backdooring into the playoffs, which is fine too. I want to see Kirby put that Hobnail Boot up your collective asses. So done with LSU blowhards that have their chests puffed up for throttling a team that managed one TD against Georgia State and relied on depth to put away LA Tech late. You do your part and we'll see you in Atlanta. My prediction, and feel free to bookmark it, is that you'll be booking hotel rooms for the Beef O'Brady's bowl again. Or maybe the Realiquest.

Kinda wished the Federal court date would have happened.
Would have been three different courts he got his arse handed to him and embarrassed the SEC in the process.

Well, they can say they had the right to play, but the SEC can say as a member institution that their members cannot play those players therefore it’s really a moot point

You said people wanted to see the "best of the best" and implied that was why the college game was where it is at. I was pointing out that is foolish. The best of the best always have and always will play on Sunday (and Monday nights). People watch college for very different reasons and if you want to take those reasons away and go toe to toe with the NFL College ball becomes a far less compelling product than even minor league baseball.
