I don't think they care. How are folks not called Texas gonna view it

Exactly, we will use our no vote for leverage to get something else we want so the SEC can say it was unanimous.

If any team votes no, they should be automatically removed.

Because if the same shite was going on with either FSU, UL, Clem, or GT that shite would NOT happen

I would think Mizzou and Arkansas would vote no, too. Gotta still be enough Texas hate from the old SWC days up in Fayetteville.

I like it. I think the Aggies should vote no.

Nah, most want to get the chance to play them every year

In fairness to the Aggies, I think the SEC would add Clemson if they wanted in, even though an SEC East team would object.

Because an Austin sportswriter says so?

That's true because UK, UF, USC and UGA have their little compact and the Aggies weren't invited.
Posted on 7/23/21 at 1:22 pm to southpawcock
Keep telling yourself that. If the money fits it won't matter who is being invited in.
I assure you if Clemson and FSU decided they wanted in they'd be in.

No, UK, UGA and UF would support USCe

Except there's no money in adding Clemson. Mizzou > Clemson in that regard. Clemson can frick right off, and once Texas and Oklahoma are official that door is CLOSED on Clemson for a seemingly indefinite period of time. I hesitate to say permanently, but let's be real.. for all intents and purposes it will be closed permanently.

We play Texas this year in football, we are the opposite of scared.
It’s a bit different when you’re the only team in the conference outside of Texas.

Are you asking if Kirk Bohls of the Austin American Statesman is full of shite and totally biased when it comes to reporting on Texas and Texas A&M athletics? Really?

This never would’ve happened with the ACC rivals.. I wonder if it’s just because A&M is still too new to the conference..
100% would if the shoe was on the other foot.
If the Big 12 was stable and locked into long term money with ESPN while the ACC was a sinking ship. FSU & Clemson come knocking on the SEC Door, they're in. No doubt in my mind.

I don’t want to add another rent a win to the conference myself.
