Not being a debbie downer, but is there monetary amounts going to the victims or is it just grey uniform to say it happened?

If they really wanted to support the victims they would forfeit so they wouldn't have to watch the life champions take the field.

I don't know why all the responses have been negative but.. I think this is a good thing being done by Tennessee. Hopefully along with this they will encourage people to donate to groups that are supporting the victims as well.

Extremely forced post by a user whose team did not even make a bowl. Should've let someone else take a stab at that imo jmo

It's a little weird. Would you wear blue uniforms to honor flood victims?

I get what you're saying but I think they are doing this because the helmet design is based on the Smokies

These uniforms look much more like the orange fire and grey smoke of the actual fires than they do the Mountains themselves

It's a nice thought but a little too on-point. It's like a team wearing bright red to support stabbing victims.

Very interesting to use "smokey" uniforms after a fire?

Nothing better to take your mind off watching your life go up in smoke than watching your team go up in smoke, while they are literally in smoke.

They should auction them off after the game and donate the proceeds, but then again you might have to get NCAA approval.
