you'ld need more tie-breakers to rank teams due to lack of common opponents.

I don’t think so. There would be more competitive balance and the increased competition would sort it out most of the time. The West is far more competitive than the East right now. Vandy, USCe, Missouri?

The bottom 3 teams in the West combined for 4 conference wins in 2018.

Your narrative isn't keeping up with the current times.

The West is 16-12 vs the East in the last two years.
I'd venture to say that Bama, AU, LSU, aTm provide greater depth in the Division vs Georgia, Florida. Maybe when Tennessee rebounds but who knows.

Regardless, round robin provides more value to the fans and the teams.

Well you unfortunately can't have round robin with 14.

SEC won't split same-state schools.

How would there be balance that instead of 7 teams having 6 games in common, you're going to have 14 with COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SCHEDULES!!!

& doing 3 perm/5 rotating doesn't give you a round robin either.

Do you need a definition of "current"? It is kindergarten level english.

Sorry. My Rentawin Tech was a reference to any D2 or FCS cannon fodder school on the schedule. I wasn't thinking about Ga Tech. My bad for the confusion. The Jackets, while not a powerhouse, are a legit OOC for for UGa every year.

LMAO at Vince. He was scared shitless to play Bama back in the day.

Vince '7-4' Dooley was 2-4 against Alabama. One of those wins was an absolute fluke.

Vince Dooley is still with us? After listening to his wife on Finebaum I just assumed he had checked out long ago. I know I would have

I like this plan. However, Bama's 3 would be AU,UT, and Vanderbilt every year

No worries. Cheers.

You probably don't realize... but UGA has played 19 P5 opponents since 2008 in the regular season.

Bama has played 12 during that same timeframe. I'm not sure Bama has a right to talk about cannon fodder to the east.
