ND is definitely strong running the ball. But I think their passing has been suspect all year.

AU needs to be able to run the ball to win, all this talk about qb may be secondary. I think the team that runs the ball best wins.

I would feel much better if Pettway was playing. But hopefully some of the youngsters will step up to help KJ out.

I'd feel much better if Gus would have got some of the others some reps this year

Agreed. This is usually the case.

I tend to agree. But most DT QB's tend to be weaker passers.

Our run defense can be debilitating to other teams. If Auburn wins it will be through the air. My opinion, though.

That would be my concern if I were Auburn. One really proven RB is never a good thing. Especially for a team that relies primarily on the run. If he gets dinged up it could really be a problem. This could potentially be the second year in a row where depth issues kills/hurts Auburn.

I have to say, I have been impressed with the GA Offensive Line. Coming into the season, I thought that was a major area of concern and they seem to have done really well.

I do think this is the best defense GA has faced since ND, and expect it to be a good, tough game.

There are three areas I am concerned about: 1. AU Oline 2. fricking punting game 3. Absence of Kam.

I do think home field will help us a good bit. I know Fromm has faced hostile crowds, but I think TN lost the crowd early.

I don’t have very high hopes for Auburn’s offensive line. To be honest, we don’t even know who will start yet or how/if they will rotate. It has been a revolving door all year, which is unfortunate...

Auburn will be the most balanced offense and most physical and fast defense UGA has played all year.

Guys I'm not claiming Notre Dame isn't a good team

I'm saying it's an insult to our intelligence for UGA fans to go "well those pollsters are college football experts and they know what they're doing w/ Notre Dame" when I know each and every one of you bastards has previously cursed polls for overranking Notre Dame on the reg

Notre dame? Mississippi State? Vanderbilt? Missouri?

So. yes. We have played Brandon Wimbush, Kyle Shurmer,
Nick Fitzgerald, Drew Lock. Those are all "decent" QB's.

Notre Dame is one of the best running teams in the NCAA. Florida is a pretty decent running team, also.

I have watched all those teams and none of them are consistent in both phases of the Offense.

Notre Dame: they can run the ball but are not a big threat with the pass.
Mississippi State: Fitzgerald is their running game but other than that not much. Their passing game is questionable.
Vanderbilt: digging deep if you have to use them as an example.
Missouri: Good Passing game, zero running game.

So the answer is UGA hasn't played a team with a decent QB AND and Offense that can run the ball.

No I think Clemson and LSU both have strong defenses. I would say Clemsons front and LSU DBs are both better units than UGAs.

This is one of the very, very few cases in which they're unfortunately correct about Notre Dame, sorry to say.

Guess what, AU and UGA play tomorrow and we'll find out all we need to know. Who cares who allowed 3 more points or 25 more yards against Mizzou. It's all about to get settled on the field.

Amen!

I'm not convinced that you actually watch CFB.

All kidding aside.

Tomorrow looks like a great day for college football.

Great matchups across the board.

how does Auburn fare in the trenches...didn't somebody on here say you have a Freshman at LT?

please enlighten me with some stats that backup your claim that Auburn are world beaters on every level and will completely demolish the #1 team in the country....even though they lost to Clemson...who lost to fricking SYRACUSE...and LSU...who lost to fricking TROY...

I can't wait to see the meltdown when UGA does what we all know they are going to do...Run the ball down the throat of the Auburn defense, keep the field position flipped in their favor, and physically dominate Auburn with our front 7 on D...like we have done to everybody else.

GTFO...
