Absolutely. And this was not the Big12 taking a shot at OU. This was a direct shot at BV, and a well deserved one.

You turds are hilarious.
This is a petty little girl who's mad at Daddy for leaving and getting re-married to a hotter woman.

Do you think Venables is a good coach? Serious question. I'll hang up and listen to your one word answer of Yes or No.

Venables is about to get fired..

Yes, the schedule was harder.. but DG was a lot better than JA and that played a big role as well.. a good QB can eliminate a lot of other issues on offense

He's proven to be "a good coach". He's the best DC there is.
Currently, he's 5-1 with a much tougher schedule than you.
What's your record?

Venables needs to ask Riley how to coach
Riley pussed out when OU was voted into the SEC. He ain’t done squat at USC.

Your schedule has not been harder than the Texas schedule through 6 games.. but that will change soon..
If Oklahoma had played the Texas schedule, OU would be 3-3 or 4-2 right now.
@ Ohio State - loss
@ Florida - toss up
vs Texas - loss
You would have won the other 3 games.
Texas would be 6-0 right now vs your schedule.

Unfortunately, I think he's on really thin ice. That comment won't go over well in Norman. If they lose at South Carolina this weekend
He's on thin ice but not that thin (yet).
There's the Mateer injury in the RRS to be factored and what he's done with the defense but a poor performance here on will seal the deal after the season IMO. That's a damn shame to for what's been built on the D side of the ball. I wish there'd be some way to keep him on as DC but I know that won't happen.

Dude, I love it! But I hope OU keeps BV for a few more years.

Florida beat you like a drum, it was only two weeks ago, they ran the ball down your defense’s throat the entire game and you couldn’t stop it
How on earth did the hubris reset itself so quickly??

OU hasn’t scored a touchdown down on Texas in 2 years. It will be 3 years the next time they play. Next question.

You think Texas would lose to Michigan or Auburn this year? LOL

Both are coin flips with Florida and they whipped you soundly

Didn't Lincoln Riley kind of hose Venables out of the gate when he took off to USC with Caleb Williams and some other OU recruits/ players?
I think they should give him at least another year, but it's OU so I hope they make the wrong decision here and walk in the desert for many years like Texas did.

Your good coach now has gone three out of four games against your biggest rival without a touchdown.
Hey, losing three out of four happens, we certainly have had more than our own issues in the rivalry..
But to not even score a touchdown in the last three losses?
He is a good coach?

My new wet dream is Bobby getting our job and picking up Venables as DC if he gets fired this year.

Nothing that he said was inaccurate. "Oklahoma" dominated the "old big 12 days" objectively, something many on this site have pointed out consistently. Many of those Oklahoma teams that dominated were under BV's tenure as DC during his first stint here. Most notably, going 7-2 in Big 12 play to 2-6 in SEC play the following year really just proves the point.
Who cares that they won a lot when he was DC? When he was HC they went 10-8 in conference over two years so he looks like an idiot trying explain away losses in the SEC by saying it's so much tougher when he was mediocre in the Big 12.
