Frick it…test everyone and the team with the fewest positives wins the natty. This shite is stupid…I’m expecting peak clown world outcomes like the one I just suggested. frick the NCAA. This whole thing is a farce.

My fleet of F-15’s and nukes got delivered yesterday. APB sent out to local baws to get everything unboxed and out of crates….heading to a round two I’m afraid, yet prepared

Because those NC St players were on a team where unvaccinated players tested positive. That is protocol.

As is testing those with close contact - which would be the Vanderbilt team

Vaccinated NC State players were tested though.

According to the NC State players, that is false. The unvaccinated players all tested negative, and then for some reason the vaccinated players were tested, soooo

Both teams interacted with other people while in Omaha that haven’t been vaccinated, including Vandy with unvaccinated NC State players. Sorry, that doesn’t sound like protocol based on science, not that that’s surprising

I thought the NCAA protocol said they didn't have to since they were all vaccinated. So do protocols not matter now?
Are All of Texas and MSU players, coaches and staff vaccinated? If not, they testing needs to start on them same as NCSU

I’ve seen it stated elsewhere that it was the local health department that insisted on testing the vaccinated NC State players, not the NCAA. If that’s true, time to say goodbye to Omaha for a while. Can’t let that go unpunished.

I just find all of this so odd. I can’t recall ANY SEC baseball games being affected by COVID all season. COVID numbers are WAY down the last few months to basically statistically insignificant numbers and now, all the sudden, the CWS gets screwed? FOH.

Their protocol says vaccinated players “may” be subject to testing which leaves the door open for the NCAA to have their own discretion on the matter.

Just test all of the teams and the one with the fewest positives wins the title, why play the game at this point.

That pesky contract the NCAA signed with the city for them to commit to a new stadium has 10+ years left on it.
