Interesting how high it ranks so many mid-sized SEC cities.

I looked up and down that list 3 times... didn't see Memphis. I clearly overlooked it, right?

That report ranks Anniston as one of the top ten best places to live in Alabama, so I'm assuming it was written as some kind of elaborate joke.

I cannot recall ever thinking of Anniston as some kind of dream destination. It’s just sort of… there.

Ellicitt City, Maryland is in the top 20 and that place sucks. It gets horrible flash floods regularly.

West Hartford.

Corrupts the entire list’s credibility…

Not surprising to see St. Charles County represented in the top 50.

2 of the top 4 in Indiana...suspicious.

Average commute in Lexington 19 minutes. List is BS.

I actually think this is a shitty list, but I just thought I'd post it on here since it makes the SEC look good.

Lived in huntersville nc, it’s not bad compared to the rest of the Charlotte metro but honestly just feels like a nicer area of Charlotte. Still busy af and Charlotte has completely engulfed it. Also they closed the rusty rudder, that was the coolest bar there and it was right on the lake.

It should say if you have a family. Guarantee these are not great places for a single person to live.

That Zionsville / Carmel area is truly a great spot though. Excellent public schools and super affordable.

Towns like Auburn, Opelika, NOrthport, Tuscaloosa, Madison and Oxford not on the list but a town in California where the medium house costs 1.5 million is on the list makes you wonder what the Hades.

A lot of places in Tx I can understand but any TX city along the border with Mexico is hard to fathom. Not as many places in Florida as I would have expected.

Every SEC state has at least 4 cities on the list except for Louisiana and Mississippi which have 1 and 0 cities respectively...lol

Alabama has 5 cities on the list:

#25 - Hoover
#85 - Huntsville
#130 - Decatur
#182 - Daphne
#190 - Dothan

Several head scratchers on both the national ranking and state ranking lists though.

Nashville at #228? How on earth does Fairhope not make a list of the 13 highest ranked cities in Alabama...but Gadsden and Anniston somehow do?
