I dont think they leave the Big 10 but if they did, they would go to the ACC fully or independent with an ACC scheduling arrangement.
No one is leaving the P2 tho

Demo boys would have drink Red Bull to give them wings. That is a lot of money flying coast to coast.

The fact that there are adults in charge of major universities who think having private equity groups invest as partial owners of their (state university) athletic programs is a wild and obscene notion. The Occam’s razor explanation honestly involves bribes to the individuals involved.
This is a valid concern.
To all who have commented and down voted, again, my apologies. I edited the opening post.
Some said this article is click bait. I don’t think so. IMO, if the Big Ten follows through on this, it will be the biggest story in college sports the century, eclipsing NIL.
I don’t blame schools who are healthy financially for not wanting to take the hit once this collapses.

The sec doesn’t need those teams. Look at the tv ratings. Big 10 and acc is coast to coast and don’t touch the sec in viewership.

WHY would Clemson, FSU, & Miami sign with the west coast?
They're already in the All Coast Conference.

You'll never get the SEC schools to take the same share as the Big XII, ACC, and Pac-2, which is the only way you'd end up drawing lines based on geography. There's a reason why Arkansas, A&M, and Texas are not in the same conference as Baylor, TCU, and SMU anymore.
We should really try these in college football.
And you saw correctly, Boston College gets left out. Syracuse and BC in the other.

It might not seem big but private equity is what killed companies like Blockbuster and Sears, both of which were on the upturn when their company tanked.

This would be bitter sweet for the Buckeyes. Michigan is the only thing keeping their pathetic schedule every season from being completely ridiculously laughable. On the other hand, they are the rented-mule, red-headed step-child whipping post to the Wolverines so the fanbase will probably be glad to see them go.
