USA Women's 4x400 relay team wins gold at Worlds with all SEC squad

Closed out the first T&F World Championships ever in the US and also ran the fastest time ever for the event on US soil and the 4th fastest 4x400 relay ever.
The team featured all SEC alums/and or current students. Diggs, Steiner and Wilson all just ran at the NCAA championships in June.

Not to take anything from the ladies, but the men also won gold with 3/4 being SEC athletes.

A little known trivia fact. Talitha Diggs is the grand-daughter of Joe Clark, the no-nonsense, inner-city New Jersey high school principal who was famously portrayed by Morgan Freeman in the 1989 movie Lean on Me.
