Played 3 rushers and soft zone at critical times in both losses.

I'm beating this horse to death. Don't care.

What is it with the Rush 3, Drop 8, Soft Zone bullshite ? Just about every team has fallen in love with that crap. Including Kentucky ... for three quarters last night it was Rush 4, Drop 7, Soft Zone. Then for about a quarter they at least turned the D-Line loose and quit worrying about gap fills.

The result ? Three INTS and a win. Not the first time Bateman has done this at Kentucky either. They held back on the rush against LSU most of the game as well.

It seems like every DC in the country is so damn worried about giving up a big play that they forget that the defense really, really needs to get a stop and get off the field.

Walker Jones and Keith Carter built this football team. Lane was just the catalyst to get them started

And Missouri had the number one rusher, the number one rushing offense, and they were playing Ole miss, with the worst rushing defense in the SEC and almost the country, yet we held their rushing to 39 yards total.

Games are not played on paper. As an LSU fan you should know this.

You forgot about your head coach getting out coached by 2 first year head coaches.

Wasn't it just week when Sarkisian was dogging Muschamp about his defense needs to step it up? His defense is #3 and Sarkisian's offense is #12.

If you look at stats for SEC games only, LSU is 5th on offense and 5th on defense. That seems more relevant than stats that include blasting an FCS opponent.

They’re thumping their chests after shutting down a QB who was playing games against Pillow Academy last year.
